Calvin Klein Defy Eau De Toilette (EDT) 50ml

People have commented on the smell of this aftershave when i wear it. Which is what you want . It i cant seem to smell it. Its s light fragrance and i seem to put more on than needed which uses it quicker and on that note i think its a little expensive on how i use it. Unless i can fond at a discounted price. I have tried both versions and its this one i seem to like the smell of more.

Decent scent, lacks longevity

Starting with the bottle, it feels solid and the lid has a lovely texture to it - both are nice to touch. The outer box design is a bit lacking but that isn't as important. The scent itself is pleasant, lightly smokey with a fresh breezy finish. Not the usual thing I would go with; I prefer something darker and muskier body and less of the fresh tail. I still very much enjoy wearing this however my biggest issue with the product is it lacks longevity against other colognes of different brands. This one doesn't hang on my skin or my clothes anywhere near others I have used in the past. I am noticing DEFY for 2-3 hours after application vs others which are more like 6-8 in my opinion. Overall, a pleasant product for an everyday use but not my favourite.

I thought my better half would give this a go but he declared it irritated his nose without trying it so I'm afraid you're getting a ladies perspective of a man perfum. I think the box and the bottle are designed well and look attractive and therefore this would make a good gift. The bottle is made of very thick glass so should survive if dropped. The perfum could be smelt once the lid was removed and before it had been sprayed the first time. I sprayed twice the first time I wore it and regretted it. The scent is very strong and it lasted from the morning into the afternoon when I either learnt to tolerate it or it became less strong (probably a bit of both). It was a fresh citris smell that attracted me enough to want to inhale it and I genuinely would enjoy it if it was worn by someone else. It is not something that I personally would want to wear but then again I (being female) am not the target audience. It's a 30ml bottle but I don't think you need to wear much. 33.00 is the normal price range for branded perfum.

Light n fresh

I like the fragrance of defy its light, fresh and masculine. I bought the 200 mm bottle as it was such a good price compared to buying in smaller bottles. Also with the fragrance being light i tend to spray more on than other eu de toilette i use. The only negative is that that with it being a 200 ml bottle its a bit on the heavy side for travel ( i work away every week) so tbh i have other size bottles of defy which i have purchases in the past, at different times and thought it was a good idea to open the large bottle and re-filled my smaller travel bottles leaving what was left in the 200 ml bottle at home. I wouldnt recommend doing that though as the tops are not that easy to remove without tools.That in mind it goes to show how much i like this product.

Summary This is a very good product with an attractive aroma. I usually use similar aftershaves in the same price bracket, but I may have just found my new preferred choice. Giftable The packaging and bottle are well designed and look great. this would make a very classy present.

This cologne has a very citrus scent packed with lemon zest. I got it on Black Friday for only 25 dollars! It’s a way more cheaper alternative to giorgino armanis citrus collections. I would absolutely recommend this product for anyone who’s in love with citrus fragrances and looking for something cheap.
