With the 1. L NEW Chute Mag Vacuum, you can get a cold drink and a smooth pour, even in the backcountry. The new magnetic top keeps the cap out of the way while you drink. This vacuum-insulated bottle keeps liquids cold for 24 hours (even longer if you add ice), and hot for six. The sturdy, double-walled steel design keeps condensation from collecting on the sides of the bottle, and the powder-coat paint job adds some extra colour. The narrow-mouthed opening also makes it easy to drink and pour without spilling, so you won';t waste a single drop. After all, nobody wants to end a long, exhausting day with a lukewarm drink.

Amazing! Keeps your drink cold in the hottest of heat.

I was very excited about this product. I absolutely love cups especially in this category. I’ve purchased some pretty bulky growlers just to keep my water cold in the summer. I took this to a baseball game and it stayed cold for HOURS. It was great! And what’s also great about this product is the magnetic cap. You know when you never knew it was something you’d ever want but once you have one you wonder how you went so long without it? No more getting smacked in the face by a cap when you drink because the magnet keeps it in place. It’s such a cool feature. This was such a hit that I purchased a second one and then my kids asked for ones for the new school year. It’s so great!

This water bottle is my new favorite. The magnetic cap is an ingenious design, one I don't know why we haven't seen before. The bottle is durably made with a vacuum insulated stainless steel to extend hot/cold temperatures and it keeps my ice water chilled from morning to evening, but I tested it overnight one day and it was still cold after 16 hours. This is dishwasher safe, so the cleaning couldn't be easier. If you need to remove the magnetic cap, I found you can twist back and forth and it will slide off. I like to do this every other washing so I can keep the area clean. Please note this water bottle has a strong magnet advisory for those with pacemakers. I am looking forward to many adventures with this water bottle.

This is my go-to water bottle. The magnetic catch mechanism is effective and the plastic hinged piece that holds the cap doesn't appear to be a concern for a weak-link. I'm confident it can be bent thousands of times without issue. That said, the cap needs more turns that I think is necessary to unscrew and secure. I get why it is designed with the catch mechanism for the "threads" on the inside of the mouth piece instead of the outside because you don't want the threads to feel uncomfortable on your lips. However, the mechanism is just not as efficient or effective as other water bottles on the market with a small amount of threads on the outside of the mouthpiece. The opening and closing takes way more turns than you would think are needed and the catch is not as smooth as traditional threads. Even when you tighten the cap down, you still need another 1/2 turn to ensure that there is adequate seal-pressure against the inside gasket. I actually prefer the screw-down mechanism on competitor products, even when there is a little thread catch on the outside of the mouthpiece. It is just way more efficient. Every time I unscrew and reclose the cap, I get just a little annoyed at how much better it could be. I know it can be done since there is a product on the market that I think got this concept better in a 24oz and 32oz with a cap that stays attached. I'll probably switch when I can find the 32oz on sale.

Great thermos
5 August 2023

This is a great, robust thermos. What I like most about the stainless steel thermos:1) Large 25oz. Liquid capacity/volume is perfect.2) Definitely leakproof (see pic below). I tested this out because I’ve had numerous water bottles and thermoses that claim to be leakproof and are not.3) Sleek look4) I have yet to test the temperature capabilities. I haven’t used this in extreme temps yet. But it does keep my water cold. The areas that could use improvement:1) Twist off cap is slightly inconvenient. When I’m at work I need something quicker to open. I work in a school with children and I need to be able to access my beverage quickly2) The diameter of the water bottle is slightly large for my hands (and I don’t have small hands). I adore this water bottle.

I have owned a lot of water bottles over the years, some more expensive and some less expensive than the Chute Mag. This is far and away my favorite water to keep water with me on the go. I still carry a hydro-flask if I am schlepping something temperature sensitive, but nowadays those (much heavier) bottles get left behind in favor of this one when I just need good ole H2O.My bottle has been everywhere with me over the past several months, from everyday work commutes in town to alpine adventures in the Alaskan Arctic. It has been dropped, scraped, thrown around, used, and abused. Through it all, it has not failed or let me down. It has been dropped, scraped, thrown around, used, and abused. Through it all, it has not failed or let me down. There are some superficial scratches in the plastic in some places from contact with rock and metal, but overall, the bottle is in great shape considering the conditions I put it through, and I look forward to making many more memories with it along in tow.The shape of the bottle itself is great: It is thin enough to fit in the not so room cup holders of my car and not so tall that having it in my backpack becomes a chore. Where this bottle really stands out, though, is the lid. The grab handle is just the right size. And the nozzle / cap setup is far an away the best combination of utility and ease-of-use that I have found so far. If I have one nitpick, it is that I am a little worried that the cap retention connection will fail long before the rest of this bottle is ready to give up the ghost. However, that is in part why I spent a longer time (about 6 months) using the bottle before writing up the review, and while slightly looser at the connection point around the base of the nozzle—it can be wiggled side to side a bit, at this point there no sign of outright failure after *heavy* use. The fact that CamelBak incorporates recycled materials into these bottles is icing on the cake.If you need a solid water bottle for everyday use, this one gets a wholehearted recommendation from me. I think you will love it.

Keeps your drink cold and is easy to carry around
19 August 2023

I love the size of this 25 oz bottle as it's easy to carry and fits in standard cup holders unlike some of the larger sizes. This insulated bottle really lives up to its claim to keep cold liquids cold for 28 hours. I'm outside a lot in 100+ temps and my water has stayed cold even through those more extreme heat days. I've also been impressed by how sturdy the stainless steel is. I'm pretty rough on my outdoor things, so this has banged into rocks, been dropped ond concrete and it hasn't dented or scratched. I much prefer this magnetic chute lid over the bite valve or the nesting handle that camelbak offers as it's easy to clean, can be opened with one hand, and because of the magnet in the screw lid it won't fall back on your face while trying to take a drink. ... MoreI love the size of this 25 oz bottle as it's easy to carry and fits in standard cup holders unlike some of the larger sizes. My go to bottle for hiking
6 August 2023

I like almost everything about this water bottle. It’s a nice sturdy stainless steel bottle, I like the color and texture a lot. The large handle is great because some bottles just have a finger loop which is uncomfortable to hold especially when full. The wider handle on this one means I can hold it with multiple fingers and it’s comfortable to take on walks. It has a magnetic closure but if you just use that without screwing it down then it will leak when turned upside down. When fully screwed down it is watertight. I am not sure the purpose of the magnetic closure? The closure doesn’t hinder it’s use though, I just screw the lid on instead of using it.

New Favorite Well Made Water Bottle!
10 August 2023

I absolutely LOVE this Camelbak Chute water bottle! It has been such an upgrade to my other, non- insulated one, which has been wonderful at keeping my water much colder for longer during these scorching summer days. The top easily twists off as does the opening to drink out of. The opening in the lid is the perfect space so as not to be too narrow to drink out of or to wide to spill anything. The magnetic top helps keep the twist off cap in place while drinking and the handle on the top is open enough to comfortably hold or clip onto something. Great size to bring with anywhere from keeping at home to the beach to a trailhead! It is lightweight (even when filled) and so durable and sturdy. Not the best for my use

I purchased this water bottle as an ad-on to an online order so I didn't have a chance to look at it prior to receiving it. I use water bottles in the side pockets of my day pack and I lost one somehow on my last hike so I figured that one water bottle was the same as the next, so I ordered this bottle because it was on dale. Judging from the reviews people use these bottles for many different purposes and I can see how this bottle would work for some but not for me. I go day hiking 2-3 times a week and usually spend most of the day on the trail so I usually put a bottle in each of the side pockets of my pack and just reach back and grab one when I'm thirsty. I have always used bottles with a push button opening because of the simplicity of reaching back, grabbing the bottle , and pushing the button to open it with no extra steps. This bottle takes two hands to open because the lid on the drinking spout must be unscrewed to open rather than just pushing the button to open. I know its a small thing but every time I use this bottle I wish I had returned it because its just not as easy to use as my other bottle, so I will just keep it but delegate it to the cupboard for use as a water bottle while working in the yard and find another more user friendly bottle for my day pack.

This summer has been a hot one so having a reliable water bottle, is a must! This CamelBak 32oz Chute Mag bottle has been my daily bottle for errands and it's been great so far! The 32oz size is perfect because it really does hold a lot, but I don't feel it's overly heavy or bulky. I like that it has a handle for carrying and while I appreciate the magnetic feature of the cap, I just don't personally care for how it makes the cap open and close. It just isn't smooth and I feel that over time, the plastic hinge for the cap may break. The rest of the bottle is pretty nice and I really love that it's dishwasher safe because most insulated cups and bottles suggest not to put it in the dishwasher.
