Bought this bottle as I wanted something that was metal as I have used metal bottles for years and use them until they break. I bought the Camelbak one as I have other products by them which have been great quality. So this bottle is extremely hard wearing, I work in an environment where it can get knocked or thrown about. This has and yes it's dented but it is still solid. It doesn't leak. In fact it has never leaked. It keeps my water cold for a really long time which I also love. We thought it was so good that we bought the wife one and when we camp she uses it as a hot water bottle and the water is hot enough for her to make a drink out of in the morning.

I love these product more because its made up of stainlesssteel chute Vacuum, you can get a cold drink or hot which you like most and a smooth pour every time. It keeps the cap out of the way while you drink. This vacuum-insulated bottle will ensure your drinks stay cold or warm for hours. The sturdy, double-walled steel design keeps condensation from collecting on the sides of the bottle. The narrow-mouthed opening also makes it easy to drink and pour without spilling, so you won’t waste a single drop. We can enjoy warm drink in cold weather. I brought the bottle of cool, San Francisco mineral-rich tap water to my lips and went to town. I could chug without limitation. The circumference of the bottle cap opening afforded me the ability to drink water as fast and full as one could conceive, without the drama of spilling all down my face and shirt. Chute Mag 32oz

Great bottle that does the job it is supposed to. It keeps my water cool all day and I like that the cap is attached to the bottle but the magnate holds it out of the way as you drink. I can fill it with ice cubes and water at 6:30am before I go to school, and when I wrap up coaching our middle school cross country team at 5:00 pm, there are some ice cubes still in the container. Only mild problem I have with it is that it fell over a couple times on our track, wasn’t dropped, and scuffed rather easily. I would like the finish to be a little more durable but all in all it’s a great bottle and the scratches just add a little character.

Excellent temperatures, but leaks.

I have used this drink bottle (I bought the green one) every day since I bought it. I absolutely love its thermal qualities and have been able to keep ice frozen for days. I would give 5 stars without hesitation if the water bottle didn't leak, however. Unfortunately, my water bottle leaks from around the rim even when sitting upright. Despite drying the internal thread, it drips constantly where the plastic and metal meet. I usually just deal with it because I love the bottle otherwise but it is a bit frustrating having a wet desk or drips on me when I drink!

Great Bottle

I’ve been using the camel back 32 oz eddy for years. Unlike the Yeti 36 oz, it is totally spill proof. I think the Yeti may keep things cooler a tad longer, but, after 18 hours who cares. My 40oz came with a mag chute cap and I switched it out for the bite straw lid that fit fine. The comment about leak proof was directed at both the yeti and camel back’s with a straw type lid.I like the larger size of the 40 oz a lot. It is a little more ungainly in your hand, but, manageable. I only have a couple of cons to the camel back eddy’s:I wish the mouth was a tad wider and a silicon rubber ring on the very bottom to prevent scratching stuff would be nice. Life is all about trade offs.My only additional complaint with the 40 oz over the 32 oz eddy is I wish it came in white or raw stainless steel. The outside can get a tad warm when it sits in the sun and a wider mouth would be nice. With a wider mouth you’d need to make the bite valve straw life to fit that or it wouldn’t be worth it.I use my camel backs as my daily beverage carrier. In the morning I fill them with coffee and later they are filled with iced tea, juice or water. I have one off these with me pretty much 24/7.

I rarely write reviews, but we just got home from two weeks in Moab, UT and I had to circle back to give props.I've been impressed with how well this keeps water ICE cold. No matter how hot it was outside, or in the car, we always had refreshing ice cold water waiting for us whenever we wanted! It was 104 degrees by mid day and the car was hotter.Two years in and I still love this bottle! It's easy to clean, I like the magnet that holds the cap out of the way when you drink. and while I was worried about the cap's plastic hinge- it has held up.TLDR: Water stays cold even when it's HOT. :)

The Ultimate Workout Bottle

I use this bottle on my treadmill. It holds plenty of water and keeps it nice and cold. The handle and tapered top make lifting it out of the bottle cage easy. The flip top with tether and magnetic cap holder make it super easy for a quick guzzle. I don't even have to turn the cap to take it off or put it back on! I added an Aupet 750ml neoprene sleeve that fits perfectly on the bottle. This extra cushion and width works great with my Widefoot Liter Cage.

The best bottles!

I have three of the Chute Mag stainless steel bottles, two in the 40oz and one in the 20oz. I had one of the previous versions of the steel Chute as well. I've had other bottles but none can really let me chug water like these do. The spout is the right width, length, and at the perfect angle. It really makes that much of a difference to me. I've tried other bottles but none can compare to this one. I do like the improved magnetic lid feature that holds the spout cap when you drink. Easier than the previous version. And I feel it keeps my water and tea hot and cold for a long time, but I'll note that I use these for everyday purposes and not for long hikes in a hot climate or anything like that.

This particular water bottle is probably one of the best I've ever had. I've had quite a few. Double insulated stainless steel is absolutely wonderful. I strongly recommend this over plastic bottles. Easy to use, Easy to clean, easy to carry. It also fits all designs carrying Pockets I have on my bags. I can't find anything wrong with this bottle. For me it was a great choice.
