This water bottle is built like a tank. Literally. The fit and finish are perfect; from the locking cap and watertight seals to the ergonomic cap ring, it is as close to perfect as you could want. The finish is smooth enough for decals and has a slight pebbled texture so that the bottle isn't slippery if your hand is wet. It will keep ice cubes from melting for hours, even in 90 degree heat in the front seat of my 70's Suburban. The 32oz bottle fits all of my backpacks and carriers perfectly and holds plenty of hydration. I have dropped my bottle training on the range and it shrugs off the damage like it was nothing. I ordered three bottles. Two of which were these insulated stainless steel ones. I needed them in different colours for my two children. Sadly when ordering on the website it defaulted to black so despite asking camelbak from the outset to send me two different colours, I receieved two the same. Camelbak did offer free returns and the opportunity to reorder but I needed the bottle immediately so couldn’t do this in time. Now left with one black spare and no blue for my other child. It’s expensive for families so disappointed with the ordering process. The bottle on the other hand is very good! Great quality and does what it says on the tin.
Love it! The double-wall insulation really does the trick in keeping drinks cold for hours and hours. Even with the 100 degree temperatures we are having this summer, my ice is staying frozen and my water is staying cool. The 25-ounce size is the perfect size, and I take it everywhere... to work, running errands, on hikes, or just working in the yard. Easy to carry. even when your hands are full with carrying kids, or books, etc. the handle makes it easy to hold onto. This is my first CamelBak water bottle, and I am now a big fan. Love the fun color choices. Ihave it in the seafoam color. No issues whatsoever with any leaking, etc. Easy to clean. I just stick it in the dishwasher. I had used CamelBak Eddy coolers before but switched up to another brand for their insulated container and the one-piece flip top lid. I received this and while it is slightly smaller in ounces than my current cooler, I do like that it fits into my normal sized car cup holder (my other brand doesn't and flops about). However, my biggest beef is still with the piece of plastic that is the spout - when I'm out hiking or running in the woods, for whatever reason this ALWAYS gets snagged and lost, so I have to carry extra replacement spouts with me wherever I go. This would be the perfect insulated drink holder if you redesigned this spout. It's nice that you can take it off to wash it, but it's not functional in certain sport situations. The water bottle is very pretty, has some heft, and skinny enough to fit in some (not all) car cup holders. However, it does not keep drinks as cold as my Owala and Stanley bottles. Additionally, the bite-to-drink mechanism of the mouthpiece requires some force to successfully achieve. By the time I finish drinking, my jaw is tired from the coordination and strength required. Finally, the mouthpiece has a lot of little pieces to remove for thoroughly cleaning. I am not confident that this mouthpiece will stay mold-free for long.
