Feels solid. The new coating on them is super scratch resistant. The insulated steel makes a really nice tone when you bop the side. Pour steaming hot or freezing cold into it and feel ‘nothing’ on the outside. Top is comfortable to use. The only fault is in the mouthpiece that may need replacing every now and then. If you're not careful, mould may also start growing in places that are hard to get into. However i don’t really like their designs in general, personally. And the price, almost $90 AUD from their Australian official website, is overpriced compared to other brands... Show more

Absolutely floored by how perfect
Absolutely floored by how perfect this cup is. If you have children that can’t go a day without knocking over your (or theirs) cup, then this one is the king of all cups. Even if the straw is up, it doesn’t spill, it holds the cold days longer than the competition, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg like so many of the other competitors. I’m beyond impressed and so happy to have this cup. It fits in my car cup holder, it has a strong handle, and its easy to clean design is all around magnificent. I never would have thought I would be this happy and impressed by a water bottle, but it’s so much more than that. If I am running late and don’t have time to add more ice, it doesn’t matter as it’s still full of the ice from the night before. It’s not cumbersome, or ... It’s not cumbersome, or annoying to bring everywhere which is crazy important. Bottom line, best bottle I’ve ever bought and absolutely will be buying one for each of my kids.... Show more

Excellent Quality
During these recent heat waves, it's important to keep yourself hydrated when you're on the go. Personally, I'm very specific about my water's temperature and always prefer it to be ice-cold. To test this out, I used my Camelback for a few consecutive days to see how well it could keep my water chilled in over 100-degree weather. I have to say, this cup is almost perfect. I left it in my car for well over 4 hours and my water was still cold and refreshing. It maintains temperature really well, even when the outside of the cup feels warm. You can fill it up with ice and it will last all day with frequent refills. Plus, it's insulated so there's no condensation on the outside, so no worries about it slipping out of your hand or leaving water stains. At the end of the ... Good Size, Insulates Cold Well
I am happy with the insulation level that this CamelBak water bottle offers. Although the volume has melted and decreased, it has kept some of the original placed ice solid in the bottle going on three days. Day one I filled the bottle with ice, in the evening the level had gone down by approximately 2". Day two the level dropped to approximately 4.5" total. Day three, most of the ice is gone but there is still about 1" remaining at the bottom of the bottle. I am also happy with the size of the bottle. I do not feel weighted down when bringing it along and the lid serves well to hold through the loop or clip to my backpack. This makes it easy to carry running errands or going for a walk. The only drawback I have is that the bottle does not fit in the cup holders in ... MoreI am happy with the insulation level that this CamelBak water bottle offers. Surpasses expectations, love this water bottle!
This Camelbak water bottle worked far better than I anticipated. I live in the desert, where temps can reach 118°F+. So, I put this bottle to the test. I filled it about 1/3 with ice, the rest with water. Closed the lid, stuck it upside down in my car which sits in the non-shaded driveway around 10:30am (temps were already over 110°!), and actually completely forgot about it until the next morning. When I went to get it, the ice had melted but the water was still cold! There was no leaking from being upside down, either. The bottle was really easy to clean, with less parts to disassemble. I love that it can be put in the dishwasher. This is also a great size for the kiddos to bring to school. Not too bulky, easy to refill, fits into the side pockets of all our ... I will be buying at least a couple more, and for sure would recommend this others.... Show more

The best water bottle on the market
This water bottle is built like a tank. Literally. The fit and finish are perfect; from the locking cap and watertight seals to the ergonomic cap ring, it is as close to perfect as you could want. The finish is smooth enough for decals and has a slight pebbled texture so that the bottle isn't slippery if your hand is wet. It will keep ice cubes from melting for hours, even in 90 degree heat in the front seat of my 70's Suburban. The 32oz bottle fits all of my backpacks and carriers perfectly and holds plenty of hydration. I have dropped my bottle training on the range and it shrugs off the damage like it was nothing. There is zero taste of plastic and no metallic flavor in the water. The finish on the stainless interior looks like the chrome hubcaps of a Friday ... MoreThis water bottle is built like a tank. The Perfect Water Bottle
I’ve had this water bottle for over a year now and it’s been wonderful. It has held up so good! Only a tiny dent on the bottom from when I dropped it in a parking lot. Perfect size (not too big, not too small), easy to carry around, nice sleek black color that looks good with stickers. Doesn’t sweat, doesn’t leak, keeps liquid cold or warm for a really long time. I take it everywhere with me (emotional support water bottle) and absolutely love it. Highly recommend for the price. The rubber parts are a bit hard to clean, but a straw cleaner brush works perfectly for me. I don’t mind that you have to bite the straw part to drink at all. It’s not hard to suck for me personally. 100% best purchase ever.... Show more

Very good, but not my favorite
I had a Camelback Eddy years ago, and while I liked it, it wasn't insulated, and the mouthpiece was always getting mold, so I switched to a different brand. I was excited to see an insulated version, and eager to give it a go.I really like how it comes apart easily, which makes it easy to clean. I like that there's a loop on the lid, as I can clip my keys on it, and what have you. I'm not a big fan of the silicone mouth piece, because my kids get at it, and bite it up, but it is nice when your water is ice cold. Vinyl also sticks to it really well, which, who doesn't like that. It also fits nicely in my mini backpack, which is perfect for Disney trips. My disappointment was that it didn't keep things as cold as my go-to, cheaper, bottle. I filled them both up with ... Still a nice bottle, and if I didn't have my other one, I wouldn't know any different.... Show more

Website issue
I ordered three bottles. Two of which were these insulated stainless steel ones. I needed them in different colours for my two children. Sadly when ordering on the website it defaulted to black so despite asking camelbak from the outset to send me two different colours, I receieved two the same. Camelbak did offer free returns and the opportunity to reorder but I needed the bottle immediately so couldn’t do this in time. Now left with one black spare and no blue for my other child. It’s expensive for families so disappointed with the ordering process. The bottle on the other hand is very good! Great quality and does what it says on the tin.... Show more

Worthy Competitor!
We’ve used this bottle in my household for under a week & so far really like it. We have some big name, kick-butt competitors, and it stacks up to some (but not all). A flip top bottle just simply won’t keep drinks as cold as a screw top in my opinion, as you’re likely keeping the straw popped open longer than it needs to be. This allows the cool air trapped in the bottle to ever so slightly dissipate while open. That being said, this insulated bottle works great for its intended use; a casual day out or a decent hike. The straw is thicker than most, allowing more liquid throughout. You simply bite down on the detachable (please detach & regularly wash to avoid mold/bacteria growth!) silicone mouthpiece to open the slit to the straw opening & take small or larger ... I would not recommend this bottle for very young children without supervision as the mouthpiece comes off quite easily. Overall I’d recommend this bottle & am really enjoying the difference in the mouthpiece for now!... Show more
