These are particularly good water bottles - they are really good at holding amounts of water to your choice up to 750ml, and even less! However - anything more than the 750ml stated capacity will overflow the bottle, that is, unless you can get a decent maniscus to form which might add a further ~10mls to your experience, give or take a few ml for variable factors.I have a friend that put cordial in his - I think his were a different brand. I stopped using them in the past because you couldn't really clean them. I discovered they made them so that they come apart for cleaning, so I gave them another try. The problem now is that they have even more nooks and crannies that are difficult to get to. I try to make sure I rinse them out ofter every use, but I still get mold. Today, I discovered that mold formed between the rubber diaphragm and the nozzle. It does pop out if you use a narrow tool (I used a thin screwdriver) and pops back in. I am getting new bottles from a different manufacturer. These things are a pain.

Bought this just before Christmas, I have only used on the one big ride so far but initial impressions are really good. It feels easier to drink from than previous bottles where you have to pull out the top with your teeth! I think therefore it will be easier to keep clean and functional. It fitted in my bottle cage real well and was comfortable to use. The ability to lock to stop leaks is really good too.

The maroon color of this bottle almost matches my bike perfectly. Very good bottle, is lightweight and easy to clean. There is also no need to pop up the top when getting a drink, just leave it unlocked and squeeze it. No leaking over bumps like cheaper bottles. My only gripe, which isn't really related to the bottle, is that it does not fit my cages very well. I have super cheap aluminum cages from walmart, so I kind of expect that, but probably add on some wrap around cages instead of the U shaped metal ones for a smoother fit.
I have the black version and can say it looks a bit more glossy IRL (see the "Smoke" colour to see what I mean), the picture here gives the impression it's a matte black finish.Other than that, it's perfect for cycling. Even when the bottle isn't locked, unless you are squeezing the bottle, it's very hard to get it to leak. Easy to clean and seems durable. No plastic smell at all from day one.
Bought this because we are going through a pretty good heat wave. Had an earlier version of the podium bottle that I liked so went back for another. The new version is not the same quality as the former. The plastic is not a nice and does not squeeze as easily as the previous model. The lid does not seal as well either. Just don't think the material selection is as good as previous. Does the job but a definite drop in quality.
We are big fans of our old Camelbak bottles, we have four of them that we bought about 10 years ago. They are still going but the sides are getting thin after so much use. So I bought three new bottles to see what they are like. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed, the side walls are thinner than my old worn bottles and they don't sit in our cages as strongly over bumps. One of them has already had the mouthpiece rubber tear and they are only a few weeks old. Also the new design makes it harder to consume the last bit of the drink in the bottle. Obviously they don't want their bottles to last 10 years anymore. I will have to start looking at other brands.
The product had silicone stuck in the nozzle when it was delivered, so it was impossible to get any water to actually come through. I took the lid apart then resorted to using a toothpick in an attempt to dig out the silicone. Since the product did not come with a booklet with instructions, I was clueless as to the correct way to go about it. Once I got most of the silicone out, I tried to reassemble the lid. After a total of fifteen minutes of frustration, I just threw it away and forgot about it, without even considering the possibility of returning it. This product is a waste of money. Not to mention, the design does not allow for easy cleaning of the bottle. I do not recommend this product.
Fits most bottle cages, very secure twistable lock bellow the mouth spout to engage or disengage flow of water.However Podium also has and I would recommend insulated bottles of this same type to be able to keep your liquids a little bit colder, a little bit longer on rides or whatever the activity you are doing.
I normally get your basic bicycling water bottles, but they were out of stock when I bought this one. 90% of the time I use these is just for every day water drinking. The anti-spill works well, but it is kind of distracting how the bottle will slowly over the next 15-60 minutes 'creak-creak-creak' as its pressure comes to equilibrium. Sometimes it startlingly comes out of the blue after an hour of being quiet. The twist-to-lock feature is effective, but because of how hard it is to twist, I am unlikely to use it except for deep-in-the-backpack-on-a-long-hike storage - leaving no more casual 'lock' mechanism. So I think I'm likely to stick to the basic pop-and-squirt bottles for future purchases.
