This is my favorite leave in conditioner. It delivers softness, manageability, and shine. The coconut smell is strong in the bottle but dissipates on application. I’m sensitive to strong smells and this does not aggravate my allergies. I have natural coily hair that is about 50% grey so I only use white products on my hair to avoid yellowing. Even my difficult grey hairs behave with this product. So yes, 100% you should try this!

I have long, straight and frizzy hair. This leave-in makes my hair softer than it ever has before. It penetrates and moistures so well, super light-weight, and a little goes a long way. I wish it was a little cheaper but its worth the price because of all the natural, honest-to-goodness ingredients in it. Amazing water based leave in. Only wish I would've found this product earlier!

This leave in is perfect for wash and go's, mini twist, and on the go looks. It smells amazing and is one of my favorite products for detangling. It's creamy, light weight, and a little bit goes a long way. I use this product in my sons hair as a daily moisturizer as well. I also pair this product with the coconut style setter for a longer lasting hold.

(especially when I’m too lazy to do a nightly regime and throw on a satin bonnet-oops). I can moisture my hair with this leave-in and an sealant and I’m good to go for days, depending if I don't constantly touch it. Also, it’s doesn’t have a really thick consistency compared to other leave-ins, so I don’t have to be so heavy-handed for once (made the mistake of putting a lot in my hair when I first used it).Dislikes: My main concern with this product is the size/packaging of the bottle. My go-to style would be wash n gos, so it would be helpful to have the product in a pump or squeezeable tube in a larger size. I don’t use a lot of the leave-in because too much of it makes my scalp itch and I read from other reviews that it’s highly concentrated, it’s annoying to flip it over and squeeze it for a little bit of conditioner. Also, I don’t really like the smell of the product-the smell of the coconut water is so overpowering (not as overpowering as the Shea Moisture Low Porosity Shampoo and Conditioner, but that’s another story). However, it fades away very quickly once it’s in your hair, but if you don't like the smell of coconut water (or overpowering scents in general), you might not like this product. The price did hurt my soul and my pockets on so many levels because it's so pricey for a 8oz bottle, but again, it definitely works for my hair and does what it says. The price and packaging are the reasons I'm taking one star off.How I Use It: Though it says to use on wet hair, I often use it on my dry hair in the morning between my wash day and cowashes. When styling on dry hair, I section hair into 3 parts, use my steamer, then apply a nickel-size amount and smooth onto each section, then I use a small amount of the Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter on my ends by doing the praying method, then using a hair pick to fluff into a fro. I can’t be heavy-handed with this product compared to others because my scalp starts to itch horribly. As for styling on wet hair, I section my hair and follow a wash n go method from Natasha from Stylish-lee (http://www.stylishlee.com/wash-and-go-routine-for-defined-curls/). I substituted the coconut oil for jojoba oil, Cantu Define
It's my favourite leave in, it's amazing for 4c hair and I've tried several others. It gives great slip, gives more definition to coils and hair feels moisturised and soft for at least a good week after. I can't recommend it enough, it's MUCH better than others I've tried. I use it for my LOC once per week or every two. It was a nice surprise when I tried it and I'm so glad I did as I did so on whim.
I needed a leave-in, since my hair needs constant moisture, and I needed something to layer under my gel. This leave-in is a gentle cream that smells great. It detangles easily and moisturizes my hair. Has great slip, and a little goes a long way due to the density. The only con is that it could be a bit heavy for some hair types. I recommend making hair wet, and then spreading a tiny bit of the cream into wet hands while diluting it with any water before applying, if you have fine delicate curls like me. Trust me, a little goes a long way! I usually section most of my hair and then rake a small bit of the leave-into each section. It worked really well! Overall, this leave-in gave my dry hair the moisture it desperately needed. Highly recommend! :)
I have hi-density, 4a high porosity hair and I have been looking for the perfect leave in. I plan on trying the leave ins from the crn line and this was my first. To me the holy grail leave in is kinky curlys knot today but this doesn’t quite compare. For one. The formula is a little too water based for me as my porous hair shaft tends to reopen with too much water. First 2 ingredients are water AND coconut water. It is really moisturizing but I find that it takes a bit to penetrate my hair shaft as well. The smell is nice and it works well with the crn almond twisting butter—which is the truth! I’d say this bottle will last me about 7-8 washes. This being my 5th or 6th time using it. I will continue to use it up but will move on once it’s finished. My review gets a 4/5 due to the fact that it’s too light weight for my hair. I have medium porosity, this works amazing if you have low porosity. It’s super moisturizing but isn’t moisturizing enough for my hair. I would definitely recommend, it smells like coconut, it’s light weight, super hydrating, has decent slip.The texture is rich, I wish my hair would’ve liked it more.
i got this for my sister , she is mixed and has incredibly tight curls that get very tangled very easily & quickly ! i got this for her for christmas as she's been wanting to get back into taking care of her hair... she loves it !! she brushes her hair maybe 1-3 times a year at most but she said this detangler made it easy to brush through her hair and that it helped define and hold her curls !! she's only used it a few times so i'm not sure if she's noticed any other things about it (i.e: made her hair smoother , shinier , etc) as we live in different states now but so far she LOVES it and i'm excited to see what the long term benefits of this are for her !!
