I love the boots -- quality and style -- except the color was brighter and lighter from what I expected from online photos, which I didn't like as much. It's unfortunate that these are not available in half sizes. I went down rather than up in size because I was afraid the boots would look too clunky on my small frame. My plan did not work and the boots were uncomfortable so I ended up returning then. Color and lack of half sizes were the factors.

The beautiful color called to me from the storefront windows: "What's more autumnal than burnt orange boots?" They were Camper comfy from the start - great fit and no break-in needed. Now they're on regular rotation and provide PNW style to my wardrobe. Buy these Brutus boots - you'll love them too.

Beautiful boots. Love the leather and the cuasi-military look. They are sturdy and the sole worked fine in snowy days. It is a challenge to put them on without a shoe horn, which I have at home, but if you have to take them off at a place where there’s no shoe horns around it is quite hard.

Let me say, first of all, that these boots are fabulous! However, I am returning them! Why, you might ask? I was under the impression that I was buying a flat boot. Even though there is a discernible heel, looking at the pictures one can see that the boot "stands" flat. Every time I tried them on however, I felt as if I were tipping forward. I read the product description again and thought, am I making this up? I was at sixes and sevens. Should I keep the boot? Will I get used to the feel? Should I return this perfect red ankle boot???? At one point I put my hand inside the boot, only to find that structurally there was a three-quarter inch heel rise built into the footbed! You never said! I purchased these boots as I wanted a different color other than black. The dark green was a very nice hue. I decided not to keep the boots as I was concerned about the lack of grip on the bottom since I live in a northern state where ice is a constant concern. I ordered my usual 38 size and it fit snug - no thick socks with this boot.
The photo and description was a bit misleading. I thought they would be part leather and part textile, but actually they were mostly outter textile in the upper part. I wanted leather to be hard wearing. I didn't like the feel of the textile either. Otherwise the fit was good and they looked good. Also on the plus side, if you don't mind the textile, then they are very lightweight and probably quite breathable. Process to order and return was very smooth.
This shoes is so light and fit like a skin. The shoes wearing is a bit tight and the heal is no suitable for me. If possible, I’d like to the smaller heal. But I love it very much and love CAMPER! Thanks. The sizing is fair. I generally wear the US8 and the CAMPER size is almost same.
I tried these on in the store after wanting them for some time. I chose a size up and they are very comfortable. As someone who often has foot problems / shoe complaints, I was worried that the tongue would rub my skin, but this hasn't been a problem yet. These boots are super light and SO cute! I love them. My only other complaint is that I bought them and then they IMMEDIATELY went on sale for 25% off.
Terrible quality, cheap looking leather and uncomfortable design. Wasn’t satisfied with the Brutus shoes and sent them photo evidence of the bottom foot grip that had worn away from just three days of wearing them. They refused to let me send them back and gave me zero explanation for this poor quality product.
I bought these boots at the Camper's shop in Mallorca airport. I decided to wear them right away. After a while , aa stain appeared on the leather of the right shoe. I was at the gate so I could not go back to the store to change them. I wrote a complaint to Camper's after sales service. They answered that they did not take into account my request, without any explanation. I had provided a photo, taken inside the airport, about 1 hour after the purchase. This kind of after sales service is unworthy of a reputable brand like Camper. I will not recommend this brand anymore, and I will not buy your products anymore.
