Recently ventured into the Gyeon range of products, how I have missed these for so long is a mystery. Thought I would treat my newly purchased GLA to a decent coating, after some research Gyeon Can Coat was the preferred option, not only for reviews on performance and looks, but for the ease of application, well I wasn’t disappointed in any.Preform, wash and some correction work, then it was time for Gyeon prep and Can Coat. Ease of application was fantastic, wipe on a small amount, 2 or 3 sprays and wipe off, the gloss shine could be seen straight away. After completing the vehicle and leaving to cure for 2 hrs I applied a 2nd coat, then left to cure for another 12hrs, finishing off with 2 coats of Gyeon Cure. After a one step polish I used this on a black BMW 135i and it came out looking great. It didn’t add too much to the gloss and appearance but it did look good. The application took me about 30 mins for the entire vehicle, so a sedan or SUV should be around 1 hour. After spraying it closely into the microfibre I applied it then immediately levelled it off and it came off super easy with no high spots. Claims to last 12 months but people have said it had surpassed that with proper maintenance so only time will tell. Water beading is great and is super easy to clean now.

(Didn't need to polish on this occasion) Applied the coating (outside) as instructed and just made the curing time before the rain hit and before I made an M25 drive. This beads and repels waters on another level. This isn't even Gyeon's full ceramic coatings and the performance of Cancoat is on another level. Very easy to apply and wipe off. This will boost the confidence of any enthusiast to use other ceramic coatings.I may use this as a topper next once as it starts to lose its properties over time. I will try Gyeon ONE next.

An Absolute must have All purpose, super durable ceramic coating for all surface types. This has to be in everyones detailing arsenal! Literally spray on cloth and wipe onto surface, lasts 12mths+ if properly maintained afterwards. i.e. with gentle shampoos and wash products. i use this for Wheels and glass now.
I’ve applied can coat onto 3 vehicles so far and they all have the same characteristics.Right after application the paint surface is not smooth. When wiping the surface even a week and a half later the surface is still not smooth.I believe I have applied it exactly as directed and the results are the same on all three vehicles.They were coated a few days apart for each in a controlled environment.The vehicles look good but the paint surface is still grabby. I would be interested in finding out if this is normal for this product or am I doing something wrong.
Initial impressions of gyeon can coat was not great. I applied exactly as directed, allowed to cure for 24 hours before exposing to the elements. After 3 days the beading was virtually non existant. However, I have since re applied by completing a full decon and rotary polish, the results are much better! As far as easy to use its not the easiest, I ended up with a lot of streaks and I applied this very very lightly! Luckily these high spots dissapeared after curing and I am happy with the final result, glossy, slick and highly repellent! A good coating but application could be easier, products such as Carpro CquartsUk 3.0 are a lot easier to apply!
There's no shortcut to getting a good long lasting finish. All of the paint cleaning processes need to be followed meticulously before applying CanCoat. The product is easy to use and is less sensitive to water falling on it than the 'How to use' would suggest. I don't have a covered space to do my prep so that's a great thing.
I came to know about this when I asked the Carzilla folks what is the next step up from a wax. I have never applied a ceramic coating but was willing to experiment (Learn). My project was to paint correct our 45' Motorcoach and I wanted to apply a good coating to protect it and keep it looking great. This Can Coat product is so easy to work with, for the past couple of months I have been working on the project and it looks great, was simple to apply and I a great deal more confidence with Ceramics. Next time I have to do this I will look at Gyeon again.

I have tried all types of waxes and later sealants and when coatings came out I was reluctant because I felt they were too fussy with too many restrictions.I read about CanCoat and the new EVO line which seemed easy enough and decided to give it a try. I followed the guidance from Gyeon which was super easy and went ahead on my 4 year old SUV. The process was quite easy after you make sure you spray it into the applicator and not on the car and then simply wipe on and wipe off immediately. My vehicle has never looked better and I am really appreciating the self cleaning properties as well as the bright glossy appearance. It beads water like crazy. ... I really am sold on this product and the only drawback is I don't find myself spending as much time on maintenance. It is great for the new user as long as they follow a few simple rules. With proper maintenance I can easily expect over a year's durability.
If you look up any videos on YouTube about this product you will quickly find why so many people LOVE IT! It's fairly easy to apply but caution it cures pretty quick and so you will want to buff immediately and its best to do small sections. The shine it offers is very good. Slickness is good but I have worked with better. The BEST part is how incredible the water properties are (beading). This product is the beading KING hands down. While it claims 12 months durability even if you were to get 6-8 months that would be very good. I personally use this coating twice a year just to ensure it bonds to the paint surface. Overall I feel for the money(value) and durability this is an easy choice!
