The jacket has a lot of loose threads all throughout the jacket which is not expected of a $700 jacket. The plus side of that is, it keeps the feathers from falling out and the
threads are easy to trim. Aside from the jacket itself, the shipping was extremely disappointing. My jacket showed up in a cardboard box and looked to be just thrown in there.
There was no protection for the jacket and I could've easily sliced the jacket as I was opening the box. Really expected to get the jacket in a tougher bag inside of the box or
something.

The jacket has a lot of loose threads all throughout the jacket which is not expected of a $700 jacket. The plus side of that is, it keeps the feathers from falling out and the threads are easy to trim. Aside from the jacket itself, the shipping was extremely disappointing. I love almost everything about this coat. The color (blue) and workmanship are top-notch. It is warm and comfortable. But, The wrist area is the one flaw. Maybe they have fixed this in the last year, but there is no elastic around the wrist and it is very loose and open, so cold air purs into the lower portion of the sleeve of the jacket. I am considering taking it to my tailor to have then add elastic or some sort of adjustable closure so that I an sinch up the wrists to keep the cold air out of the lower portion of my forearms.

First time buying a Canada Goose jacket. Quality of the packaging and presentation was fantastic (Ordered online) and I was excited to use it for two reasons: 1) A lightweight and functional jacket that will keep me warm when driving to avoid using a heavy winter coat. 2) The packable feature in order to travel and have warmth when needed.This jacket completely covers the first point. It's kept me fairly warm even below the temperature rating, and is great for multi use. Looks professional when going to the office and easy to throw on when going to the gym.However, I'm fairly disappointed with the packable feature, not for the functionality, but for the look of the jacket when packed over a period of time.My jacket is now incredibly creased. I believe this defeats the purpose of a jacket to be packable, and is unacceptable for a jacket at this price point, as it had great aesthetic when initially bought.If it wasn't for this, I'd recommend it fully.

While this jacket is rated as TEI -5 to 5, I wouldn't recommend it as your outer layer jacket in those lower temperatures (unless you are being active), but for around 10 it should be perfectly fine. As such I intend to use it as my go to fall/ early spring jacket. I would add that it is a great layer (as it's not too puffy) beneath for example a windproof jacket to really keep you snug and warm in colder temperatures, so perfect as one of your layers on active activities in colder weather.Other notes:The fact that you can pack it up small makes it a great travel companion for those wanting a more high-end fashionable down jacket that's easy to stow.I bought it in black, and in sunlight it almost gets this shifting oily coloration similar to obsidian. Don't buy without a fitting! For me, size L was theoretically supposed to be optimal - I am 187 cm tall and weigh 85 kg with a normal build (Chest - 112 cm, waist - 92 cm, hips - 104 cm). The length of the jacket and sleeves was ok, but it was very tight in the chest. I bought the XL and it was a shot in 10! It protects from the wind very well. At a temperature of about 2 degrees C a light jumper is sufficient in addition. In my opinion, the temperature range for this jacket is not the -5 to +5 C declared by CG, but rather 0-10 C or even 2-12 C.

Nice looking and fitting jacket but made cheap without durability for a 795$ jacket.I bought this jacket and after wearing it casually without doing any sports the zipper broke after only 2 months. Canada goose exchange me for a brand new jacket that on the first try out feather started to leak from a whole the fabric .From the experience of having 2 of these jackets i am losing confidence in th quality and durability of canada goose jackets they charge a high price and fail to deliver quality.

I was a bit skeptical about spending so much on this type of jacket but I've found it to be so versatile in both style and function that the initial outlay doesn't seem quite so steep now as I'm able to get so much use from it, and unlike my selection of CG parkas will I'll probably be able to wear this all year round, I like it so much that I'll probably add the hoodie and vest versions at some point.So far I've only used it in winter and I've found it to work well as both as an insulating top layer on mild days or as a mid layer under a big down jacket or parka on cold ones, it's also well suited to indoor environments as it's warm enough to keep the heat in but not so much you overheat.The material and general construction seems to be of high quality and the ...
