Hi all, if you are thinking of purchasing this jacket - I would refrain from doing so. This is coming from someone who loves the brand and has previously owned two pairs of jackets from CG with admittedly zero issues. Spent £875 - and while it does keep one warm - it comes with a host of problems. These are outlined below:- While the jacket is advertised as water repellent, this is completely false. The pictured stains (which the jacket is now covered in) are the result of a 30 second walk in light rain. Worst part is - it is impossible to get rid of them (although I haven’t tried washing it yet in fear it will worsen the condition).- As others have mentioned, it LEAKS down (also pictured). Unacceptable for this to happen at the rate it does for a brand new ... MoreHi all, if you are thinking of purchasing this jacket - I would refrain from doing so. Unacceptable for this to happen at the rate it does for a brand new jacket (I bought it in November) at a premium price point.- The colours / materials look completely different in person. It is much shinier than depicted.- The fit isn’t the best - it’s very bulky. Having said this it is light and keeps you very warm.- Worst part, however, is the CG warranty system / lack of useful customer service. Any complaint is met with ‘don’t worry you have a lifetime warranty - please send it away for 4-6 weeks and we might fix it, but will probably tell you there is nothing wrong with it or you need to pay for a repair - oh by the way, shipping is also on you’. This is by all accounts the experience many people have had with the warranty system. Now I’m stuck with a £875 jacket designed for the ‘elements’ but is highly damaged for light use. If I could get some proper help from CG, it would be much much appreciated.

BEWARE, the other reviews were Incentivized by bloomingdale. They just resend returned and worn items. They asked me to return and repurchase, which I did. However the second item I got was also worn and stained! There’s no quality assurance. The packaging is absolute crap for a luxury dept?!It took me more than half a year to get my refund for the first item. And I’m still working with their customer service to get my second refund. They have lost me, my friends and family as customer. I’ve purchased from many luxury sites, and they’re all incredible. I can’t believe they’re still in business in this day and age.

In early January I purchased a Crofton Puffer in Klondike Gold. Never having owned an expensive winter jacket before, I was careful about what came in contact with it; one time opting to wear a different jacket in heavy rain when I was going to be using an umbrella for fear of damaging the down contained within it. I wore the jacket only a handful of times, never outside of any ordinary suburban experience, and during this time it accumulated stains that were considered by their warranty team to be "excessive" and "unrepairable". These stains occurred after coming into contact with rain or tap water. The stain on the front of the coat (see image below) was caused by picking it up while my hands were slightly damp from washing them. Oh and PS, they're charging me $40 for cleaning. This is just a word of warning that I wish someone had given me before I spent the money on this brand.

All in all this is a great puffer but I suggest checking it out in person/in store before ordering. The photos on the website are completely photoshopped. Colors and material textures are VERY different in person vs. photos. The coats in black, navy and silver are extremely shiny in person (similar shiny finish to the Moncler Maya, Kanuk Misto, etc.) If you are looking for a matte finish like the photos, this jacket is not it.The photos on the website also depict the CANADA GOOSE font in grey against the zipper and on the zipper hangs. In person, the font is actually white so it does contract a lot.If you were looking for a very shiny finish, contrasting CANADA GOOSE branding that pops out, this is the coat for you!If you were looking for a matte finish, with ... MoreAll in all this is a great puffer but I suggest checking it out in person/in store before ordering. If you are a Large, get a medium. Medium, get small.
I bought this Crofton Puffer for my boyfriend to replace his Expedition jacket. It worked its wonders when having to work outside in the elements unloading cargo from airplanes in the North. After six years and now not having a job outside, I thought it was time for him to have a refresher. It’s looking like it won’t be a replacement but just an addition to our Canada Goose Collection. We love our jackets and accessories, espcially for life up North! We have lived in Nunavut, New Brunswick and now in Nunavik (Northern Remote Quebec), and our gear has served us well in every region. Thank You Canada Goose!
I ordered the emblem gold colour. Bold it is! Maybe too bold I first thought when I received it.It goes well with layering more muted colours (navy, dark blues, blacks, greys) in my wardrobe. I find the fit (M size) slightly large and a bit roomy, especially around the waist (I'm 178cm, 81KG). However it isn't an athletic fit garment like the hybridge lite coats. It is a puffer. The fit reminds me of the older lodge coats from about 6 years ago. In the end, it's definitely a keeper!
Purchased this online after reading multiple reviews and fretting over fusion fit in a different coat. I’m 5’5 and weigh 160lbs. Wider in the shoulders, 38-40 chest and a 32 inch waist. So I read a ton of reviews and settled on the Medium. It arrived today. The packaging just drips of something special. The presentation is fantastical. The fit, although I have room in my waist etc is just about right. I think if I had gone with. Size small, it would have been ok, also but this gives me the opportunity to layer more.Wearing it … I feel …. Just plain Bada$$ …. It’s incredible and I want one know every color. The back carry straps will definitely come in handy. The wrist cuffs are soooooo soft and gentle but they hold the sleeve in just the right spot on my short frame.
The Crofton Puffer is great, I live in Toronto where it is currently ranging between -10 to -30 with the windchill so winter has been quite brutal. The Crofton Puffer has kept me warm despite me only wearing a t-shirt underneath. The fit is great and I love the neck-liner that hugs you nice and snug to prevent wind from getting to your chest. The hoodie is very deep so when you have it on it protects your entire head and more. It’s like you’re in a bubble. Super lightweight and doesn’t restrict you anywhere when you’re sitting down. Overall great design and well made. 10/10.
I tried the jacket on in the store and was instantly impressed by the extremely low weight of it. At first, this had me worrying whether it would be warm enough in cold, windy environments. Now, after having worn the jacket for a month on a daily basis I can confirm it definitely is - even in snowstorms! The jacket is really comfortable and I have enjoyed it a lot since buying it. Just a quick note on the fit: there is more space around the abdomen than around the chest, so if you are a rather skinny person, that area might look a bit baggy.Regarding the quality of the product, I am rather concerned. Two weeks into owning the jacket, the inner stitching close to the zipper started coming loose and quite a few feathers punched through the surface. Two weeks into owning the jacket, the inner stitching close to the zipper started coming loose and quite a few feathers punched through the surface. This has continued since then, which never happened to similar jackets of other brands which I have owned for ages. Want to slap a ~50% premium on your jackets within the last five years because you are developing into a premium fashion brand rather than an outdoor clothing supplier? Fine by me - provided the quality is impeccable and unfortunately this is not the case (neither was it with my last Langford Parka). So if anyone at Canada Goose is reading this, please invest some of your new revenues into quality assurance - I would really like to continue buying your products.
Canada Goose might have just created the perfect puffer jacket. You've got a premium feel with soft materials and loads of down filling. Style with a clean look, classic colours and a nice shape and fit. Functionality with it being super warm, super comfortable and unbelievably lightweight for the amount of warmth it provides. And finally you've got a well thought out design with plenty of adjustments, backpack straps, a good selection of pockets and a fantastic hood which like the classic parkas can be worn either folded back for improved visibility or extended into a full tunnel hood for maximum coverage. My only complaint is something that a few others have pointed out, and it's that the pictures on the website aren't a very good representation of the product, a ... MoreCanada Goose might have just created the perfect puffer jacket. Where as In reality it's a big soft puffball of a jacket and Atlantic Navy is actually a rich shade of blue with a stunning metallic finish that really pops under the right lighting.Other than that I can't find anything to fault and I'll likely be adding another colour to my ever growing Canada Goose collection, as well as the classic and neutral shades it would be nice to see more in the way of bright and interesting options such as orange and camo print.
