elements ). No fuss but quality materials and warmth and style . Like the fit , took it exact sizing ,enough just to wear thin sweater . I hope it's as hard wearing as it seems
,don't mind if discolors a bit . Happy to add this to my collection of high quality jackets ( 4 ), this one fits for everyday use and hiking .

The parka is everything you’ll expect. It is waterproof and a great wind blocking. It’s not overly chunky but semi stylist. It’s the right length for 5’8. Definitely a great
investment for the future winter even if you do get hot easily because the price just keeps going up.

Got it as a Christmas gift from my girlfriend. Got an XS and it fits great (i am 5'6, average built). The jacket sits right on my hips so its not too short and not too long. I don't
really like the fur thats on the other parka so I am very happy with this jacket with the adjustable hood.The only bad part about this jacket is that there's no hand warmers
(unless you empty the front two pockets, I usually keep gloves and my keys in there so putting my hands in there gets pretty crowded). I would love it if they added pockets in
the inside jacket on BOTH side rather than one. But overall very happy with the jacket and makes the person look more mature compare to the chili-wack bomb...

I was frustrated and had to spend an additional 20 minutes on the phone with Bloomingdale's to reorder the jacket, hoping to still receive the 20% discount.Excited to receive my Canada Goose Macmillan Parka XL in black, I opened the package only to find it was not the item I ordered. The price tag indicated it was an Alliston Jacket for women, retailing for $1125. The jacket was clearly used, with dirty pockets filled with hair, loose threads, fingerprints on the hood, feathers coming out, and a noticeable odor. This was a stark contrast to the new $1360.94 purchase I expected.After contacting customer service, they apologized and offered to send a replacement jacket, but insisted I return the current one to a Bloomingdale's store to avoid potential duplicate charges. Unfortunately, I do not live near a Bloomingdale's and commuting to the nearest UPS store for the return would be inconvenient without personal transportation. I am concerned about additional costs for transportation and whether the replacement jacket will meet expectations. Also, I am unsure if the 20% discount will still apply.This experience has left me severely disappointed and frustrated. It does not align with the high regard I've heard about Bloomingdale's. I may consider closing my credit line and will hesitate to make future purchases with your company. I intend to escalate this matter to higher management as the level of service provided has been unacceptable. I may also share my experience publicly to inform others about what to expect when ordering from Bloomingdale's online.Thank you.

5’5 165lb muscular build 30 waist purchased a size small. Small fits perfect but a little snug. If feels snug in the shoulders .i was very hesitant on getting a medium but afraid it would be too big. I’m happy with the size small. Jacket fits me with only light layering. It would definitely be too tight with a bulky sweater or hoodie. Quality is pretty good. They are rare to go on sale but you can find it if you are patient.

I bought this jacket for my son who is in his first year of college in NYC. After trying on several, he liked this one because it seemed warm, stylish and was long enough for him. He is 6'4" tall and 175 pounds. I purchased a medium which left him just enough room for a lighter weight sweater underneath. The sleeves were also long enough. He liked the fact that the back was longer than the front and also did not want a fur ruff. When he tried this jacket on for his siblings to see, two things happened. They thought it was a bit short in the front on him, (matter of personal taste, I suppose) and they wanted in on the Canada Goose movement. Back to Bloomingdales to pick up the Brookvale jacket for another son, and the Carson for the tall guy. (Essentially similar ... Happy with my new coat. Looks and feels great. I am usually a size medium, however the size guide told me to get a small. I purchased both small and medium, and the small was obviously too small for me. Medium fits nicely. Very happy with the coat , it is exactly what I expected from looking at photos on the website. It comes in a nice box with a dust bag. I live in UK, and some of the other parkas look too warm. I like to wear a t shirt and jumper, and also hope to wear this coat on 'milder' cold days. Overall very happy with my purchase

The jacket is great but definitely a few minor details to be aware of. In regards to warmth and style it’s perfect, definitely more of a discreet Canada Goose jacket and not too in your face - I prefer the no fur hood look. I found the fit to be perfect, loved that the front was shorter and the back was longer for maximized warmth.When it comes to the functionality of the jacket, it only comes with 3 pockets and they are all fairly shallow. The two front pockets are warm tho. Secondly the zip is a MASSIVE hassle to put on, like most of the reviews on here I find it quite tedious to zip up and super inconvenient for rushed life moments. Thirdly the hood is WAY to big. I understand the purpose is to have a big hood for insulation but it’s not a functional hood for ... I checked out a number of different CG parkas and picked this one as I feel it’s the most versatile for UK weather. It’s shorter than the traditional coat, however it sits just below the waist at the front and drops lower at the back to cover your backside. The fit says slim and it’s nicely fitted and accommodates my belly without any trouble. It looks very sharp either at the soccer or when dressed up. It feels like an £800 coat just from the fit and finish, and it’s not got the fur collar which I’m happy about. I did notice it felt a little loose around the waist and I wondered if it was lacking a draw string; rest assured it isn’t. It fits perfect and looks superb. Overjoyed with my choice.

There is plenty of room for a thin sweater underneath.This has cloth ribbed black cuffs (not shown in the picture) that keep the cold out. They fit snugly and obviously are not adjustable or waterproof.There are notches in the side of the jacket, which is longer in the back than in the front (just like a bicycle jacket).The front has two zippered side pockets that are not that large, and there is one small interior pocket that barely fits my iPhone X in a case. So if you like lots of pockets, this is not the jacket for you.The double zipper, like all double zippers, takes some getting used to.
