The Merritt Parka offers dependable protection from the cold, with a streamlined look and feel. The subtle A-line silhouette and chevron quilting provide a feminine aesthetic, while functional elements like reflective cuffs and a stowable D-ring can be hidden away when not needed. Interior backpack straps allow for hands-free carrying when temperatures rise.

I’ve been wanting a Canada goose jacket for YEARS! I own a vest but I finally bit the bullet and bought a true jacket and let me tell you, I am so impressed. The quality is outstanding and it is super warm. I cannot wait to wear it. I love the feature of the straps to carry around on your back if you don’t want to wear it in a store etc. For reference, I am 5ft 1 and this coat hits mid thigh. It is long in the arms but it’s doable. The coat is a heavy duty jacket, it’s not light, pretty heavy when you have it on. I did not want fur on the coat and the fushion fits all had fur in the styles I liked. So I am happy with this coat overall! Don’t hesitate to buy!

Looks great to wear, feels great to wear, real quality and luxury ! Pictures on the Canada Goose website are a true representation of the product. I would, without doubt, recommend and purchase Canada Goose again. My only complaint, especially given the amount of money involved, is with the packaging, arriving in plastic bag in a battered cardboard box, truly awful gift presentation compared to Burberry, Dior, Gucci etc.

I love this parka!I've wanted a Canada Goose jacket for a very long time, and I'm so happy with my new Merritt Parka! The design is wonderful, it's very warm without being too bulky, and the colour (Stormy Sky) is really beautiful and unique. The quality and features of this coat are superb (beautifully made, with lots of pockets), as well as the overall fit.I initially ordered a size Medium which I found to be too roomy, but luckily was able to try on a size Small at the Canada Goose store, which fit perfectly.I would therefore recommend downsizing when ordering the Merritt Parka, if you prefer a more fitted jacket.

Warm but too stiff. This coat is very cumbersome and the outer shell is not very comfortable and makes it difficult to move around in. I purchased to wear as a skiing jacket but decided to try because it wasn’t comfortable.
Ok. This coat was awesome and it looked great. Until… I started to see feathers coming out after 2 months. Sadly I had to return it because I was not sticking with a jacket that would shed so easily that I paid thar much for
I thought I was buying a high quality GOOSE DOWN coat as per the name. Canada Goose does not mention ANYWHERE in its description or on their website that they only use DUCK DOWN AND FEATHERS! The coat stinks and smells like water fowl. I only found out after paying $995 for the Merritt Hooded Down Parka and on the inside tag I finally found out what type of DOWN they use. Stated Duck Down & Duck Feathers. Isn't it misleading to have the name Canada Goose?
I purchased this jacket less than 3 months ago. I noticed today the the back pack straps are shredding and coming out Of the seams. I have used the straps maybe twice. I don’t even wear the coat every day. For the price this is poor quality, especially for the amount I paid. When I called in to exchange it, they no longer have the jacket in my size. I LOVE this jacket and have yet to see anyone else with it. (Which makes me love it more). I do love how maintains the warmth but wish this hadn’t happened.
I LOVE this coat. It's incredibly warm, waterproof, has awesome features, and is super stylish. I love the "back pack straps," it has ton of pockets, hooks for your gloves, and the hood is adjustable in multiple ways. It's a high recommend!
This jacket is great but within a month of wearing it, the strapped ripped. I reached out to CG and the only thing they wanted me to do is to mail it to them to "assess" whether or not they could fix it. This would leave me without a jacket in the middle of winter. This was a brand new jacket and the quality of it is horrible. I've only owned it for a few months and it's starting to show signs of wear and tear, this will not be a jacket that I have long term. Do not spend the money, just go buy a better quality jacket. Not worth the money.
First I bought the xs and it was too tight. I returned it for a small. I am 4’9 125 lbs. you cannot wear a sweater underneath because you will die. I wore a tee shirt and was warm enough. Pockets were quite warm. You wouldn’t need to buy a warmer coat for a few years so you really get your money’s worth.
