Really like the full coverage and warmth, all with surprising light weight for such a long coat. Actually, I had to take the length up one sewn section because it was too long (I'm 5'2"). Don't particularly care for the coyote fur color so leave this detached and the water-resistant material does tend to attract some dust (the material is not slick/shiny but rather quite matte). All this said, I think it is totally worth the price paid $715 after first time buyer discount).

I bought this coat to walk my dogs in. I was getting so cold that I felt sick. It is amazing and actually keeps me warm. In fact, it is so warm and cozy that it is hard to wear above 32 degrees, but if you have to be out in the cold this will work!

Best coat ever!!

This was a gift 2 years ago and it’s the only coat you’ll ever need. I’m cold when the temp goes below 70 degrees. It’s the only coat that has ever kept me warm in eastern winters. It’s stylish and functional beyond belief. I get stopped on the street all the time with compliments and question about it. Best coat!!

Best of the Best

This is my third Canada goose coat. Fits TTS. Love the venting capability from bottom Up to make less restrictive while walking. Hood is perfect as no use of animals.Coat is extremely warn. Well worth the price.

Good quality, warm, a little

Good quality, warm, a little too long for a 5"2 person. The website shows a black label model, but the coat that was delivered has a red logo.

Just a few tweaks and it would be perfect

For the cost, you expect no annoyances, but hey, here I am to tell you about them. I've seen this groused about in numerous reviews from a couple of years ago, so no idea why Canada Goose hasn't made any tweaks. The pockets are strangely high on such a long coat, and the openings are a bit strangely situated--too toward the front and too high. Like you have to raise your shoulders to simply rest your hands in the pockets while walking. My other coats (Marmot, Mountain Hardwear) get it right. And yes--this is long. I'm 5'10" and it's mid-calf. If you're 5' tall. this may be dragging on the ground like a wedding dress. Speaking of dresses, it's not as straight up and down as I'd like. I'm 5'10" and it's mid-calf. If you're 5' tall. this may be dragging on the ground like a wedding dress. Speaking of dresses, it's not as straight up and down as I'd like. I'm sure this is done so you can actually walk and don't have to shuffle down an icy sidewalk like a penguin, but the zipper stops a ways up from the bottom so maybe so much triangularity is not needed. Still, it's a bit teepee-like on.I'm an athletic-build 141 lbs, and the Medium is a bit too roomy. I don't love to layer in the winter thanks to Chicago's propensity to overheat the inside of every building like it's the tropics in February. So there's too much room underneath in the chest (38C, if you're wondering) unless I'd planned to layer hoodies and such. Even more in the hips, and nobody ever accused my butt of being small. So if you're similarly Amazonian and want the room, get the Medium. If you don't love to layer and want it to be less tent-like, get the Small. And why is there no fleece lining the torso like most other coats? February will be the true test, since I can't really tell how warm it is indoors in air conditioning in September, before the thing sells out. Oh, and the red is weird. Not a true apple red, but a bit of a bordering-on-orangey Baywatch red. I am exchanging for the basic ol black. I've wanted the red for two years, but that is way too much red coming down the street. So yes, I'm giving it three stars and not five because holy high price, Batman. I get that I need to spend to break out the big guns for a Chicago winter expected to be worse than usual, but c'mon Canada Goose, listen to your customers.

Not as warm!
22 December 2023

I purchased this coat last week and decided to try it out today since the weather in NYC is 17 degrees. After waiting for 30 minutes at the bus stop, I felt cold, this coat did NOT keep me warm. Not worth the hefty price tag. I will be returning this! Very disappointed to say the least.

Winter Olympics here I come
1 December 2017

After doing lots of research on the warmest possible jackets for extreme winter weather, I'm splurging on this one for my upcoming trip to PyeongChang, Korea, where I will have to work overnights outdoors for 3 straight weeks. I just can't take a chance, so I bought the best! Hope it works!!

stupid warm
28 December 2017

Stupid warm jacket. the first one i got i ordered a large, thinking i would layer (5ft 2in, 145lb, 34 G cup) NO NEED. this time, i got a medium and it fits just right. just enough room for a shirt and sweater, but that's all you need. honestly. if you're out walking, this jacket will easily keep you warm. Admiral blue is just gorgeous. not obnoxious or too dark. this coat is very long on me. below my calf. i took the fur hood off. it has backpack straps on the inside so you don't have to carry it. the pockets sit high, which is kind of annoying.
