I have been looking for a new winter jacket given my Uniqlo and Everlane jackets were getting pretty old. Decided to splurge because I hate hate HATE layering, and I get cold easily. Originally looked at the Rossclair parka in standard fit, and I really disliked the buttons (they look big and bulky). Also, the sizing was a little awkward. I am 5'3", 125lbs, pear shaped - most of my weight sits around my hips and thighs - the standard fit in S fit OK but was a little bulkier on the top, a little too long (since I'm short), and just overall awkward. It was large in areas I didn't want it to be large, but the hips fit. I probably still could have gotten a medium in the standard fit, but since I was spending lots of money on this jacket, I wanted the fit to be GREAT not ... MoreI have been looking for a new winter jacket given my Uniqlo and Everlane jackets were getting pretty old. Was a little worried sizing will be weird, but they both fit very well! Arm length was good, overall coat length was good (fits right mid-thigh ish), and both were somehow so much lighter than my old jackets which was my fav part.In the end, decided to stay with the Trillium parka mainly b/c of the style, but detailed reasons below:- Shelburne has its "padding" on the outside, I wanted a jacket-like look that did not make it look like a padded jacket if that makes sense?- I preferred the chest pockets on the Trillium, felt like I'd utilize those a lot more- Given I get colder more, wanted a higher TEI rating - didn't test it out to see if it actually makes a difference, but also didn't want to get the Shelburne and wonderIf you are debating between the Shelburne vs Trillium, here are the things that Shelburne was better at:- the "A" shaped jacket does make it look fit better esp if you are pear-shaped. This was especially noticeable when you sit down, shelburne is comfortable while Trillium you always need to unzip a little on the bottom to be really comfortable- Probably because of the TEI rating maybe, but Shelburne feels lighter than TrilliumOverall, super happy with the jacket, can't wait to wear it when it's colder!!! I still wear it in Seattle if the weather is anything below 50F (lol) with a thin layer. Works perfectly especially given Seattle is wet and feels colder than its actual temperatures...

After much debating I finally ordered and while initially unsure, am now fully satisfied with my purchase! I have been looking for a warm coat that fits my petite athletic frame for sometime. I tried many brands (Patagonia, Columbia, Athleta, NorthFace) and every time something was not quite right- sleeves too long, waist not hitting me at my waist, arms too tight, etc. I decided it was time to give Canada Goose Fusion Fit a try. I ordered the Rossclair Parka Fusion Fit in a size medium (for reference I am 5ft, 128lbs, 34B, waist 27 with an athletic build). The size medium fits perfectly- sleeves right length, waist hits at my actual waist, great overall length, there is room in arms and chest and it is so warm. I’m not going to lie I did leave the tag on for a few ... MoreAfter much debating I finally ordered and while initially unsure, am now fully satisfied with my purchase! The coat is fabulous. Super flattering fit once sinched in at the waist. I went for charcoal colour because I have read some reviews that black fades a bit, so grey was a safe choice, and yet still dark.Super warm and comfortable! However, the fur does seem slim and not as nice as it used to be. I always thought Canada goose would have amazing fluffy rich, thick luxurious fur on the hood but it was slightly on the slim side which was a bit of a shame, but I have made it look better by brushing it with a hairbrush. Not sure if this is the case with all CG coat models or just the Rossclair, but I wish they went back to the quality of fur the had before.

I am 21, 4'9/4'10, chest 32A, and weigh 100lbs, typical short skinny girl, and most parkas are always too big for me and look terrible on my proportions; the Rossclair Fusion fit in 2XS is perfect, the length on me is mid-thigh as promised and doesn't make me look like a penguin, so if length is an issue for anyone out there, I highly recommend the fusion fit range. The very feminine structure of the jacket is flattering for me since I'm shaped like a door, it lowkey gives me an hourglass silhouette; I prefer leaving it open instead of zipping it so my outfit underneath is shown. Sleeves sit just past my wrist and I love that.I've seen reviews complaining about the fur on the hood being thin and cheap looking. Sleeves sit just past my wrist and I love that.I've seen reviews complaining about the fur on the hood being thin and cheap looking. When I opened mine I saw the same, the fur was thin and very flat but I think this is just because it was in the box. My solution for that was to adjust the hood wire and make the fur face outwards, and fluff the fur out, it looked absolutely fine to me after that, so I recommend experimenting with the hood before complaining about the fur, also note that since this is real fur, not every hood will look the same. Also the hood is huge but most hoods are, so this isn't a surprise for me. It would be useful in harsh weather conditions anyway. As for warmth, I live in London and its not the coldest here yet, but Ive worn it on a couple cold mornings around 4/5 deg(C), and the jacket was great, especially on the arms, and I'm usually only wearing a basic t shirt underneath, no layering. Although I have layered a hoodie underneath once and I was very warm. I believe the jacket also gets warmer with use, I'm sure the sharp cold in Dec/Jan times will be a piece of cake with this jacket. My advice to everyone speculating in the reviews and having second thoughts would be to be positive, the shape and design is flattering for any petite girl; warmth is subjective I guess,I am satisfied with the warmth, if you're cold its easy to layer up. Theres a lot of space in the jacket to carry things so I don't even need to take a bag with me anymore. If this is your first CG jacket, be prepared for pleasant surprise
I love my Parka! However, I do wish it came in petite sizes. I am 4’10 and the collar hits above my chin, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The cuff hits my wrist perfectly, and is stretchy enough to push back when I need my watch. I love the Glacial Melt color, I always look après-ski ready! 4 hand pockets, deep and warm. I keep my bracelet and work ID secured in the snap button pockets and keep my hands warm in the inner pocket. Just to note. During winter I always wear layers under my jackets. The one time I only wore a long sleeve tee under this parka, I was freezing. Overall, I really like this Rossclair!
It’s a beautiful coat; I got the limestone shade, which is a little different than all the black and navy coats out there. However, the details of the coat cost it a few stars. I really dislike the plastic zipper. It feels incredibly flimsy. Also, any coat with a thermal layer - the stretchy black cloth underneath the sleeves - should have thumb holes. Keep your normal size for a nice, fitted look and it should accommodate a decently thick sweater, but any super thick fleeces will not allow the coat to zip to pick the size of the coat accordingly.
After living in Boston for 10 winters I finally took the plunge to buy such a luxury coat. My first impression was the poor quality of the fur really surprised me. I guess these chic coats I’ve seen on the streets with the full ruff are from years before the manufacturer switched to “recycled fur” for sustainability sake. I still will have to buy a fuller replacement unfortunately to keep my face warm. I still love this coat and the A line shape is great because I am petite. I love the details on this coat like the fleece lined exterior pockets and SO many interior pockets!! Overall I’m glad I bought this and love the lifetime warranty. They say you get what you pay for and I couldn’t bother to buy another Chinese imported coat like some other brands (north face). ... MoreAfter living in Boston for 10 winters I finally took the plunge to buy such a luxury coat. The backpack straps inside make it feel ultra lightweight and chic to dangle off your shoulders without having to worry about it blowing off your body. Shopping in store was a treat and the staff treated me excellently! They didn’t have my size in stock so I had to get it shipped to my home which was a disaster trying to organize the signature required. It took me over a month before I actually received the coat. The first order was returned and it took a ridiculous time to get refunded and I had to repurchase. Knocking off a star for the issues with shopping experience.
Ok so I love this jacket. Fur got better but not us big like back in a days.My cons. I went to short hills mall in NJ service suck. I ended ordering online. I’m 5’8 and 260 lb I got 3X and is little big I wish store offer me to try smaller one since she pull the strings to make a smaller, but I felt like she was trying to sell me this jacket like she was making her commission. I should ordered 2 sizes and then return one of them. To my defense I safe for 3 Christmases so I could get this.Pros. I’m broad in my shoulders so I got a lots of room, love the length, you can make your hood less deep and fur is fluffier over time. I have it for a month and is great.
Just hitting 5’2 @115lbs 35d went with a small but there’s enough room where I think I could’ve went with an xs….though i don’t know how much room an xs would’ve allowed me to layer. I like to wear hoodies for everyday. I tried this coat regular fit in xs and it was way too long so fusion fit is def way to go if you’re my height. The shape is very feminine. It’s been about 30’s and 40’s f here and I feel it keeps my chest warm. I’ve worn it for dressy occasions as well and it’s still very feminine and cute. It’s very practical overall, easy to wipe down, dust off. The fur does not match the price. It looks beaten down and what everyone else said about it looking uneven. I hung it up and have had it for about a month now. After reading all the reviews, some bad and some great. Let’s just say I had a fantastic experience- from the shipping, the fur, and to the fit. For reference, I bought the M fusion fit since i am more petite on the lower body I would say but my shoulders are more broad for a girl. I am 5’6 about 144 lbs, more athletic, 36C chest, 27 in waist. I find that most jackets are very constricting around my hips but the fusion fit was perfect… I was initially afraid it was going to be too tight but wow it fits like a glove!! I’m usually a S in jackets.. but I felt as if the S reg was too tight and the M reg was too big/bulky. The fusion fit of this jacket is also shorter which I love since I am not that tall either!! I’m hoping my review can help out my fellow ladies :)
