This quilt is really lovely and warm. Not too hot though and perfect for perth winter. It has replaced the polyester winter quilt we had before that was too hot. Only con was it had a strong wolly/sheepy smell when I got it, so I had to wash it before use. I washed in our 10kg machine (only just fit!) And dried outdoors. Result was excellent and no more sheepy smell. Very happy.

While the product overall seems nice soft feel and good construction, it is not warm for winters as it says on the website.Used at end of May Sydney winters and had to top it up with more layers in the middle of the night to make it warm.It doesn’t feel heavy as well, not sure why it says heavy weight.Definitely not near worth the hefty price tag.
Don't be afraid of the heat rating thinking you are going to be giant, sweaty foot all night. Keeps you amazingly warm but breathes excellently. Nice weight, heavier than you think it would be looking at it, but light enough that you don't feel like you are being pinned down by a poltergeist at night. Good quality filling, excellent stitching. Recommended

This is by far the best winter blanket I have ever owned. It was so warm, lightweight and comfortable. Not to mention the price was less than half the price of what I paid for my previous blankets.

After searching around for very overpriced quilts for my sons bed I decided to get this as I already have the King version on my bed. My son now stays in his bed all night. It is the perfect warmth, not to heavy in weight and it's very high quality. Lana Wool is now my go to quilt!
