These are so lovely, I recently purchased my second set. The first time I washed and hung them on the line, I was a bit sad to see that the fabric had gone a bit weird where I had them pegged them on the fitted sheet and although I thought it may go away/un-crease with time and was just temporary, it actually looks like it has permanently effected the fabric. Regardless of this small fault, I’m so satisfied - the soft wash cotton is such a nice combination of soft/crisp for Australian summer climate.

After using the pillow case for the first time I noticed a dark patch, as if it was wet. I’m assuming it’s sweat from my head/face while I’m asleep. Washed the covers, as per the instruction, and the dark patch was still there. Washes again and still there. Had to send pillow cases back in the end. The quilt cover is amazing, I love it, but the pillow cases aren’t. I haven’t used the replacement covers yet but if the same thing happens I’ll be sending the whole quilt cover back fort a refund. I asked why the covers didn’t wash well but wasn’t given a proper answer so don’t know if this will happen again. Time will tell

I love my new quilt cover. The fabric is unbelievably soft and is a pleasure to slip under each night. I now find I’m only using my Canningvale quilt covers (and sheets) and realise I have waited my whole life to find and love this totally soft and comfortable material. Bedtime is perfection and gorgeous snuggle time. I love my quilt cover!

Such a great quilt cover. Our previous one would always have the quilt bunching up in strange places and falling out the end, but this one stays in place perfectly. The colour is honestly lovely, a little lighter and more grey than I had anticipated, but I love it. It is lightweight and very soft to touch. We have paired it with dark green sheets, a big chunky throw and lots of colourful pillows and our bed looks so fancy now.
So happy that we can have a choice to get a product being designed, created, and made locally with local materials.So soft and light, just love it. especially the silky feeling cover of the Quilt.It is exactly what I am expected.Please support local business. Actually we were very disappointed.All the descriptions of the sheets stated that the sheets required NO ironing.That was not the case. After the initial wash the sheets were so crushed and wrinkled and far worse than the Alessia Bamboo Cotton sheets we have bought previously.I took a photo of the wrinkled sheets to send to Canningvale. We have not used them yet. Very disappointing, as we did not get what we assumed we would get from from the advertising and product description.
I ended up buying 3 of the Vintage Softwash Cotton Quilt Cover Sets in different colours and I love them on my bed. They feel so soft and look amazing on the bed. I also bought a Vintage Softwash Cotton sheet set and absolutely love that one as well - it feels so soft and warm and snuggly. I highly recommend both these products - I would definitely recommend them to others. Plus they took less than a week to be delivered. So I wasn't waiting for weeks for these production. I've slowly been replacing all my sheet sets with these Vintage Softwash sheets in Smokey Grey Melange and the Denim Melange. I purchased the first set 18 months ago and they have been washing and wearing very well. Colours have held up really well and there are no visible signs of wear. The sheets have a nice feel and have been good for use in summer and winter. Happy customer.
Love the set, I already had them in them in the Smokey grey melange and they are super comfy and soft highly recommended. However the second time I brought the cocoa grey melange as the colour on the website looked very different to the Smokey grey melange however in reality they are the same colour with the slightest difference. Was a little disappointed by that, the picture is very diseaving - lighting could be improved to show a real view of the second set. But I kept them none the less as the quality is great.
Was so disappointed when i saw it wasnt even remotely like thr pic, in color or texture😔The pic shoes a lovely soft mauve color & fabric.What arrived was a thin cotton mottled dark purple & white fabric...see pic.Such a big difference between this one in pic & this one. Was a Xmas pressie but its not a nice color and fabric is like cardboard to touch & thin too...so wldnt gift it to anyone.Wondering if i am able to return it for a refund? I wldnt use it...
