Canon's Platinum photo paper produces extraordinary color and B&W prints especially if you're printing on Canon's amazing Pro 300 printer. No need to use a professional photo lab anymore when I get such great results with home-made prints.MB

I use this semigloss paper to print with my Canon Pixma PRO100 printer. The images are sharp and vibrant. Normally, I prefer to print glossy photos, but these semigloss photos look sharp and dont show finger prints. This is my paper of choice.

This paper exceeds my expectations and Im very particular. Ive profiled this paper with Canon OEM inks and 3rd Party PC inks on my Pixma Pro10 and the color match and fastness is exact. This paper performs exactly as expected for a semigloss and really makes the images pop.

Use professionally with Canon PIXMA Pro 100. Beautiful prints, the quality of very noticable when compared to other nonCanon products. Most importantly My clients are blown away by the clarity. It gleems of high quality. Could not be happier You truly get more than you pay for. Get this product.
Excellent and fast service and shipping time. This paper gave me amazing results. Sharp, Crisp, and clear photoprint.Clearer that the pro glossy II paper.Gave me the feeling I am looking almost at as 3D photo.Excellent product.
I had seen professional photographer's prints done on this same paper but I doubted that I could achieve equal results. The only other Canon paper I had ever used was the Glossy II in 4x6 and 5x8 format. Having recently acquired the Canon ProGraf 300 printer, I put it, along with the 13x19 Pro Platinum, to the test. The images were beyond amazing! They actually looked better in print than they did on my high resolution 27 inch monitor that I used exclusively for photo editing. Digital screens, no matter the type or resolution capability, cannot compare to what this paper (and the printer, of course) can do!The images I printed were mostly wide open landscapes from the Black Mesa, Oklahoma area. I cannot say how well the paper might work for other applications nor ... MoreI had seen professional photographer's prints done on this same paper but I doubted that I could achieve equal results. I cannot say how well the paper might work for other applications nor can I attest as to whether it last 200 years as Canon claims? Who cares because I will not be around to know one way or the other. I do know that the last two prints I shared with my family brought tears to some of their eyes. What more could you ask from your photo paper?
I have been using Photo Paper Plus Glossy II (PP-301) for prints around my house and photo club competitions. Under incandescent lights the prints viewed pretty similar. However, viewed under daylight conditions or daylight lamps, I find the Pro Platinum has a much whiter base and hence richer B/W contrasts and more color punch. When a sale brings the pricing close together, I will certainly order the Pro Platinum.
I've only used Canon Pro papers since I purchased an I9900 printers years back, then I was shooting bikes and models and like the consistency. When I moved to the Pro-10, I had a couple issues, but they were operator error, imagine that! Being old film guy, no matter how big the screen it's not a photograph until it printed!Sorry for any spelling issues, got a gas bubble in my eye for a retina tear and detachment
I use Canon Pro Platinum for their photo paper, inks, and other photographic needs. exclusively, and always purchased them through Canon and one other provide. However, they were out of stock. I then turned to B&H. It was in stock, and the service I received to get a large quantity was superb and timely. I could not have been more pleased and will continue to use B&H for my future photographic needs.
yes, it is glossy. but the prints from this paper are really good. Like them better than the German papers and the price is much better. and pigment inks of the Canon pro 1000 add a little longevity is only 5 years longer than the pro 100 inks which costs less. To use on the pro one needs to buy the paper in rolls and cut it. But who makes the paper...there is no Canon name stamped on the back like most Canon papers.....Perhaps this is why it is so difficult to buy?.
