I compared the price and features of second-hand higher-level models vs the new price of the 3000D and found them all wanting. The 3000D is taking great pictures and is not suffering from the issues found on second-hand units (dodgy SD card slots, scratches, worn out shutters etc). I haven't (as yet) had a single complaint, this camera comes highly recommended.

Very impressed. I wanted a DSLR to use for hobby photography aswell as filming make up. It connects to phone via wifi allowing me to control the camera all directly from my phone if i so wish. I can also connect it to my pc so I am able to see everything my camera sees while i film aswell as adjust the zoom and other settings without having to go back and forth from the camera. Exceptional value. I absolutely recommend to anyone that wants to learn photography or film for youtube but worried about the cost of camera equipment.

I compared the price and features of second-hand higher-level models vs the new price of the 3000D and found them all wanting. The 3000D is taking great pictures and is not suffering from the issues found on second-hand units (dodgy SD card slots, scratches, worn out shutters etc). Best camera I’ve owned. It’s easy to use and everything is right at your fingertips. I’ve taken some incredible photos that people now want to buy from me.
Pros: I got this as a clearance item at a very good price. For me it's a starter camera and has been very good. The lens is somewhat limiting so I added a 55-200 which has been great. Easy to handle. Robust.Cons: It took quite a while to learn the ins and outs being used to an old SLR!

It’s a great camera for my 16yr old to learn photography on. It’s a great size for her to handle and takes great photos
I wanted a good entry level camera that would produce good images in a range of situations. The item was dispatched promptly from Auckland and certainly seems to do the trick! Works PERFECTLY for me and the packaging was PERFECT, I would have received my camera within 2days but due to long weekend (Queens Birthday) I had to wait a bit which I was absolutely fine with. My camera does EVERYTHING I want it to do and I'm absolutely happy with it 100%.
