Pros: The auto focus on the R6 Mk.II is second to none and the tracking features are amazing . One it locks on it doesn't let go on most cases . The 40fps is astonishing and the high Iso for low light and astro photography is excellent . The battery life is much improved and i love how light it is weight wise . Fits great in my hand and is comfortable to hold . Cons: A larger buffer would be nice but that's the only downside i could find of this beast of a camera

I took the plunge and replaced by Nikon D610 with this new Canon R6 Mark 11. I had looked at the. Z6 and D850 and decided that the R6 11 had significantly better features and functionality even though it meant investing in new lenses. The D610 has been a brilliant sentry level full frame camera, the Canon will enable me to develop my skills to a new level. Light, easy to use, incredible range of functions looking forwards to exploiting its potential.

Upgraded to the R6mkII from a 77D, which is a monstrous step up. I cannot recommend this camera enough. It’s an affordable professional camera that is built with high end features and finish. Well done Canon!

So glad to be back with Canon, the R6 ergonomics and usability are best in class. First impressions of the R6 MKII are very impressive, the auto focus animal tracking is accurate and fast. Image quality is superb and the EVF has been very likeable after years with SLR viewfinder clarity.
Love this camera. Have used Sony mirror less for a few years having moved from DSLRs. I did purchase an R but didn?t use it much. Really find the ergonomics friendly in my hands. It takes great photos and is customizable enough to really make it work well.
Pros: Auto focus is incredible and so quick.Ergonomically it’s great. I love the button placement and the ease of switching between stills and video at the flick of a switch.Only had the camera a couple of weeks but so far so good! Cons: Nothing yet as I’ve only had the camera a couple of weeks so yet to do a proper shoot.
Amazing to use and focus hits about 99% Typical canon too with only a few minutes to get set up and ready to use. I’ve replaced my commercial cameras (5d mark 3’s) with these R6 mark 2’s and I’ve got no complaints.

Comparing to my EOS R autofocus system R6mk2 has mind blowing super fast and snappy AF with a multitude at tracking options I lost 6mp in resolution from 30mp to 24mp. In practice its unnoticeable for my needs. No time limits for video recording up to 4k30 is a game changer for my work ( I do concert and live performance recordings). Because of R5/R6mk1 30 min video limitation I skipped that camera generation.
