Extremely well heat regulating jacket. Used for both mid layer and stand alone. Thin and light weight. Kept my core temperature just right with heat breathability on arms and shoulders. Perfect for activities like cross country.

The Capa Hybrid is very versatile.. It's one of my absolute favs from Coto. Great to wear for early morning pre and post work out transit, runs, kids sporting events or even work calls. The hybrid component sleeves are great, fit well and stretch for bigger arms, and the jacket has a fitted look which I love.. it's not baggy or bulky. I have multiple colors and I hope Coto starts to offer it in more colors!

This is genious! You get the freedom of movement that comes with a vest, plus the added protection of light coverage for your arms. The arm fabric is an awesome waffle fleece that feels like a massage on your skin! The filler on the front and back panels is super warm, and yet, it's so lightweight and thin that it packs into it's own built-in pouch! I can't say enough good stuff about this hybrid!

Like some of the other reviews say this should’ve been a slam dunk 5 star product but just a few things got skipped and it doesn’t really make sense. There’s no cinch on the hood so if you’re walking into the wind it parachutes unless you manually hold it down. There’s not much waterproofing on it. I can do that myself but for the price it seems absurd. A drawstring at the waist would be a nice to have but that may impact the style so I’m not as concerned with that as the other two points. It’s still a great jacket, but with a pretty useless hood in any kind of real weather.
This is a very active-fitting jacket. At first, the jacket feels snug but once you put it on, within a few minutes the jacket opens up and conforms to your body. This was perfect for an afternoon around the house or attending a sporting event. This will be a great layering piece for when I go snowboarding! The synthetic insulation is the perfect amount of weight for adequate warmth.
The width and depth are all good, but the length of everything including the sleeves is not right. I had to get a smaller size, which is tight in the shoulders just because the arms are freakishly large and long. It looks like I have wings. It was my most anticipated item from s23 but now it’s just kinda eh. Hopefully in future seasons it gets better.
Right zipper broke within a day, but overall the jacket has been incredible. Fits well and useful for any form of activity. Even ran part of a running workout in it and felt incredible. Highly recommend. Performs decently well in rain. Wish they had better color options, but the black/blue is quite nice.
I purchased the Capa Hybrid jacket for a trip to Kenya and Tanzania. I heard that morning and evening game drives were cool and that layering was a good idea. I was also limited on packing weight because of the bush planes I took within Africa, so I needed something packable and lightweight. The Capa fit the bill in every way. It had enough room to layer a hoodie under it, but was warm enough that I only needed to once. I can move easily when hiking and climbing. I thought I was buying this jacket for Africa, but it quickly became a favorite and I will definitely be wearing it once the weather cools down at home.
I have worn this jacket everyday since I purchased it! I've been in everything from 50 degree weather to 32 degrees and it has been wonderful, warm, easy to move in, and lightweight. It is so versatile and durable! I've also spilled at least 5 different meals in this jacket and it cleans up perfectly! I will buy it again (in another color) next month! You will never regret this purchase.
Might be simpler to just pack an R1 layer & a vest, but thought I'd try it. Cozy and mostly very nice. But unfortunately they skipped a few steps attaching the arms, and went w/ a weird straight stitch under the arms, which resulted in a surprisingly tight fit there despite how large the rest of this XL felt. I'd downsize to a L, but hard to imagine that the armpits would feel comfortable given what the XL was like.
