We've been crying out for all 8 Mega Man X games in one collection, and now that both the Mega Man X Legacy Collection and the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 are bundled together, you're most definitely getting your money's worth. Experienced colorful levels with plenty of action, as well as competitive boss battles in the new X Challenge mode. If you're a fan of the Blue Bomber, or just like the frantic side-scrolling shooter genre, this collection is for you.

For better or worse, the latter half of the strangely bisected Mega Man X Legacy Collection contains some of the worst games ever made under the Mega Man label. However, as a collection of titles, it's convenient and ideal for weirdos like me who -wanted- a taste of the worst Mega Man X had to offer. No longer a $60 PS2 game with blisteringly awful reviews, it is now a ~$20 collection that also includes the shockingly enjoyable Mega Man X5. I can now say from experience that Mega Man X7 blows, and not just because a magazine told me so.

Well, I love the old Mega Man Games, but especially the SNES games from the first Legacy Collection have input lag, which leads to a horrible gaming experience. Mega Man is all about timing your jumps and reacting fast, so this is really a bummer for me.

Arrived in perfect condition, and at roughly 3 dollars per game in the set, it is a must have for any fans of 2d classic platforming action. I still have all the original games on their original systems but ti have them all on a convinient 2 disk set with playstation trophies and lots of fun extras like concept art and soundtracks i couldnt pass this one up.
The collection is worth it for the first disc alone. Mega Man X,X2,X3 and X4 are among the best Mega Man games in the franchise! The classic SNES music still in tact, the challenging levels and bosses with the option for an easier mode for every game is available. The Achievements are very fun and doable, and are not attainable through Rookie mode, so the challenge is still there. Very good price for 8 games, even if the games on Disc 2 are among the worst of the series. The Challenge Mode that pits you up against 2 bosses is okay, it's challenging, but not very rewarding. None the less I personally see it as a bonus. Definitely a must for any Mega Man X fan!
Great game! Let you play games that are now and were back in the day very rare so its nice to be able to play them. That being said, these games ARE STILL fun to play to this day. I highly recommend picking this game up if you are a Mega Man X fan.
Great game, but you only get the first Collection on the card. To get the Second Collection you must use a code to download it.
Great game, and the graphics look amazing on the Switch. Only niggle is the saving between the bosses in some of the earlier X games but understand this was how it was back in the day. The rookie mode is a good idea for gamers new to Megaman and the text and storyline is great as used to playing the Japanese version on the games on the SNES. If you like Mario then Megaman is definitely on a par, think of him as a mechanised Plumber but with other weapons as well as fireball!! Good way to mark 30 years of Megaman and worth having all these great titles together in one collection.
