Lovely shoe. Recommend buying the wide version, rather than the normal width, even for average feet.
My daughter wears 8.5 shoes and it fits her perfectly but this ballet shoes are probably made small. It is too tight on her. I have emailed target many times still awaiting response.
The shoe runs narrow and small. Both my girls had to go up a size up which fits perfectly with little room to grow. Go an extra .5 size more if wanting a little extra room. Its a beautiful well made shoe. My 5 year had hers for a year and if she doesnt grow out of it, shell have it for another year.
I just bought my daughter size 2 school shoes, so we tried the same size for her ballet shoes. While they appeared a bit narrow, they fit exactly as I would have expected, and they have just enough room that if she has a growth spurt tomorrow, she'll still be comfortable.
Perfect little slippers - great there’s no bow to come untied on top. But if you are purchase for a toddler, consider looking for wide or going up a size. They run narrow, but do have some stretch.
For comparisonWe have been wearing the Bella Premium and outgrowing her current pair: I ordered these; and the size and width are not at all comparable. (For reference she is a regular size 9 in Livie and Luca and every other shoe we own with no special width needed.) I ordered this pair in a 9.5 and they are so unbelievably narrow I couldnt get her toes into the toe box. She doesnt have wide feet at all so, in my opinion, these would be great for incredibly long narrow feet. The lack of toe tie is a great feature and the strap looks well sewn and comfy.
