The Caprice platinum block out blind are great. They have metal fittings with a metal cord to operate. No flimsy plastic parts to frustrate you. Easy to install and looks great.

I purchased a new blockout blind from Spotlight. The previous blind was many, many years old. I purchased the same blind, same colour. Plus new brackets for curtain. It was very easy to install ( even I could do it and I’m no handywoman) The blind looks wonderful and I will Definately purchase this product again.

Lower quality blind with clunky moving components. Parts are cheaply produced and once properly installed it is difficult to raise and lower. Blockout level is very good and if you don’t have to regularly open and close, this blind would be a good window cover.
Works well, reasonably priced, black colour is completely blockout. Only issue is where the silver bar is at the base of the roll, the fabric stays curved and sits curved when down. But not a big problem for the price.
I bought the 240cm Caprice Platinum roller blind in white to fit in the recess of a bedroom window. The width needed to be trimmed a few cms but installation was otherwise not difficult. The blind provides good coverage and looks great. I am happy with my purchase.
The width of the blind was advertised at 60cm. When I arrived at your store I measured the blind width with a measuring tape - it was actually 57.5 cm.Your online product description is inaccurate. The process and time taken of purchasing it online, driving to your store in Carnegie and discovering the blind in fact would not cover the width of my window was very disappointing.
Bought 6, put 2 up and returning the rest unopened. The 180cm doesn't fit window properly and the blind looks like it'll fall out of the bracket any second. Very wobbly when using chain to put up or down. Does the job of covering window though I wouldn't pay full price for these.
Work great and they’re easy to adjust length yourself. Block out sun and keep heat out.However for this width and length Spotlight don’t stock joiners at the 38mm width. All are at the 25mm, so you have to source from other websites and couldn’t find one that operates independently of one another. They do stock additional brackets though.
We purchased 2 charcoal colour blinds initially and were so happy with the quality of the product we ended up doing the entire house. Purchased the grey/sand colour as well for other rooms to add a colour change to the rooms. Easy to install. Hubby put them up. Day blind is great. The night blind is so good at keeping the heat out of a room that gets full morning or afternoon sun, even though designed for night time privacy. Recommend this product, just hope it lasts. That part we aren't sure of as yet.
