Good solution to my problem to replace older style cistern

This unit is listed as a 6/3L or 4.5/3L unit. But it can be adjusted up to a 9/4.5 litre dual flush (as detailed in the description) which provides sufficient flush water for older style toilet pan. The newer unit commonly available from Plumber Trade outlets do not have this facility and were not suitable for my application in an older toilet system.

It will flush

Previously I had purchased a fancy looking low volume modern cistern thinking it was the right thing to do for the environment. It never flushed properly. With this new one I adjusted to the higher flush capacity for an old toilet. Now I no longer need to do a full flush twice after conducting business. Even the half flush is just right. Very happy.

This model has 3 flush volumes: 4.5/3, 6/3, 9/4.5 litres so it works on a variety of pans, old and new. It is slim and stylish. Everything comes in the box including a seat, all mounting screws, flush pipe, seals, and connector cover. The install and adjustments were easy and it feels quite sturdy.
