Love the versatility of this light. First of all its portability - that if can be easily moved from room to room. Mostly it sits on my dining room table in the middle of my home. It functions as a welcoming night light during the dark, cold mornings. We also turn it on at dinner time (with a bit of overhead lighting from a chandelier) - it provides just the right amount of lighting that we enjoy for dining. It has a very soft light that’s easy on the eyes which is my favorite thing about it. It’s round globe is kind of like having the moon inside my home! It holds a charge well too. A bit expensive but well worth the purchase in my view.

Solid structure and sleek modern design create the perfect elements for this lantern. 3 light settings allow for variety of brightness. Perfect to take anywhere inside or outside of the house. Useful for light outages. Very happy with this purchase!

I love this little lamp! It is smaller than I thought but very light and can easily be carried from place to place. handle can lay down flat. Nice for patio, grandkids, extra bedrooms, power outages. It does not get hot to the touch and my granddaughter thinks its a crystal ball!

I was looking for a cordless lamp for a side table. I love this lamp and love the portability aspect of it. My only issue is the color of the light itself. Because it has a white shade, the light is definitely bright enough, but in the room I bought it for, I wanted a warmer light. That’s my fault for not realizing a lamp without a cloth shade would not produce the color I wanted. The lamp itself is super cool looking and completely portable, so I’m using it for other applications in my home.

Love the lantern, brass & steel finish is great. My only complaint is the charging cord is really. My plan was to put the lantern on a nightstand in a guest bedroom. The only place I can charge the lantern is in my kitchen on the counter. Any place else it has to sit on the floor to reach the outlet with the short cord.

This lantern looks nice in a group setting. Utterly useless for visibility on a walk as it's blinding you at the same time it's illuminating the path forward.If you break the glass globe - easy since it's utterly unprotected - you get to embark on a weeklong project of running down the manufacturer (who gives you the runaround over and over before giving up) and Food 52 (who delivers the same no-help help but with a slightly more pleasant interface).Again, the central component of this lamp - a breakable glass object left utterly unprotected - CANNOT BE REPLACED. Fail.

I bought 2 of these. One sits next to the sliding doors to the deck, the other is on the dining room table. When the dogs go out onto the deck and into the yard when it's dark, this handy little lantern lights the way for the oldest dog to get down and back up the steps safely and with more confidence. Better than a flashlight because the pool of light is wider, better than the usual lanterns whose batteries you have to keep on hand. The lantern on the table casts a warm and beautiful glow, perfect for a relaxing and romantic dinner! Three levels of light let you set the mood.

I love these lamps so much I bought 2. The price is high but the aesthetic is perfect and the light is beautiful. Worth it.. oh wait. Within a year of owning both charge ports became unusable. You will see others reporting the same problem. Food52 refuses to stand behind the product and have offered me paltry store credit for the “inconvenience”. $58.45 for 2 x $300 faulty lamps. If you look up this product you will see the maker has started using a magnetic port on their current versions. I have contacted the maker in hopes I can get parts to repair what is currently expensive trash. My partner is also busy engineering solutions, we are trying a battery charger - we’ll have to keep the lamp disassembled (globe is kept in place by adhesive) to take the battery out ... MoreI love these lamps so much I bought 2. I own 2 of these lanterns….white and brass. They are both beautiful, well-made, and so convenient to be able to take them anywhere indoors or outdoors without having to plug them in. My condo is in a building that was built over 100 years ago and it has limited outlets. This is so much better than stringing extension cords and overloading electrical outlets. The charge lasts a really long time too. They are pricey, but I think they are worth it. I would buy again and would definitely recommend.
