My kids love this thing. They want to get it out every time I’m sweeping so they can do it too. My youngest turns it on constantly just to listen to the noise and the batteries have lasted an impressive amount of time so far. I don’t love that the confetti pieces only spin for the first use or two and then static to the container. The ball is also not super well made, the sides aren’t truly attached so they rattle and wiggle. The support wheels also give my kids a hard time sometimes which can send them into a tizz.

My Toddler Loves This Toy, The Noise & Moving Pieces In The Canister Are Great. It Doesnt Stand Up On Its Own As Well As Id Like. Im Not A Fan Of C Batteries Because I Never Have Them On Hand But The Batteries Have Lasted A Long Time So Far So Its Not A Huge Deal. I Like That It Actually Sucks But The Suction Isnt Really Strong Enough To Actually Pick Anything Up. I Remember Having A Kids Dirt Devil When I Was Little That Actually Vacuumed. It Wouldve Been A Nice Feature With This Dyson. For Those Reasons, I Say 4 Stars But Im Sure My 2.5yr Old Son Would Give It 5 Stars.

Great toy but small- sized for a 3ish year old. Love that this little vacuum looks and sounds real. Helps LOs not be afraid of loud vacuums. It actually has a slight bit of suction and a little chamber to empty the dust/ hairs it picks up. Of course, it is just a toy so don’t expect fully functional suction! Only complaint is that I wish it automatically shut off after a few minutes because small kids don’t turn toys off!

I want this to work so badly, but it’s not good. It won’t stand on its own reliably. Whatever mechanism clicks to help it stand up, just randomly fails and then it’s impossible to get it to do it again. So that makes it really hard to store. Also the 4 C batteries for a tiny little swirl is so overkill. It literally costs double the price when you factor in the cost of batteries

I love that it has two separate buttons/switches: The button makes the beads inside swirl and the switch on the back turns on the suction. I only ever turn on the swirling beads, though honestly he’s perfectly content to push it around without turning it on. We didn’t like how it doesn’t stand up by itself so it just keeps crashing down to the floor. We couldn’t get it to suck anything up like it mentions. And the middle clear compartment does circle around the fake dirt, which is a plus but I’ve seen other kid vacuums with better (kid) color selection with glitter and a light to really catch the kids attention. Also the wheels are weird and if you don’t adjust the handle just right the vacuum head isn’t even touching the floor. It is a nice size for a toddler but would not recommend.
This is such a cute toy vacuum (the only reason I’m not giving it one star) and my two year old was so excited to get it for Christmas. Unfortunately she never got to play with it because the handle wouldn’t click into place. I even tried exchanging it multiple times and every vacuum we got had this problem. Based on other reviews, it’s happened to a lot of other people too. Super disappointing, but it wasn’t worth it to keep trying and I didn’t feel like I should have to try fixing a brand new, not-inexpensive toy.
This product was listed as having a realistic suction, I tried it out and placed a tiny piece of paper on the floor and ran over it with the vacuum. It didn't pick it up. I don't think this should be described as "realistic" if it's function is not going to resemble the real thing. The appearance looks like a vacuum, however the promise to have real like suction was not there. Also, the handle that detaches did not want to click in so it's loose and easily comes out. For the money I spent on this item, I am disappointed.
I️ like that this vacuum “works.” It is a toy so the reality is it doesn’t suck up hardly anything, BUT it is really cool. It has two buttons, one for the actual suction part and one to turn on the swirling beads. There’s a tiny compartment to empty your dust. I️ had one already but every time I️ vacuum my kids fight over who gets to vacuum with me so I️ bought another! It must have been destiny because it was half off when I️ purchased it, making this an amazing deal. It is on the smaller side so younger kids would be ideal for this toy
The handle would not stay in, had to glue it. It will not stay up on its own at least not easily. price online was vastly different than in store and I'm a bit frustrated by that. $34 in store, $27 online, pretty much wasted my 20% off coupon because of the price variation. My son has had it for 10 minutes and is already obsessed with it. It's great if you have a toddler obsessed with the vacuum but for costing more than my handheld vacuum I expected better quality.
