Maybe the store will toss it into a generic Casio cardboard box - the kind that come flat in a stack with a rubber band wrapped around them. You will have to ask the cashier for it though. The reason for writing in this detail is because a lot of people when they buy these watches on line expect them to come in fancier packaging. Perhaps they saw an unboxing video or two. I assure you these do not come packaged like their fancier siblings and if you say anything different that is because those unboxing videos are from people who added those tins and boxes themselves. But enough on that already. All in all, this is a great watch with a unique reverse red display, Tough Solar so that you don't have to worry about batteries for at least ten to twelve years, a multiband - 6 radio syncing capability and bluetooth. It is a G-Shock so it is pretty much indestructible. Excellent value!

Brilliant and I love it. I had a gshock before with the standard screen and I would say that the inverted screen is more difficult to read especially in low light. Other than that it’s brilliant. I added a third party deployant clasp and it’s so close to perfect and I would recommend to anyone. I love gshock products anyway.

A little hard to read, but that's on me, I knew what I was getting into when I bought a negative display. Other than that it's such a great watch. Bluetooth setup and sync is easy and an excellent feature. Will be keeping an eye out for more of these. Please, G-Shock make a full on retro 5000 with these features!
For me, this is the ideal G-Shock Square. Its light, tough and offers Bluetooth with an app that helps set alarms, the auto light functionality, time zones etc, as well as multi-band 6 radio signal time keeping. The composite link bracelet is light and comfortable. For me, the positive display is the icing on this particular cake. Ive had the negative display and it didnt offer the all light levels clarity that this model does. Im also not fussed on the newer positive display Darwin GW-B5600CDs party piece of Galapagos species appearing when the backlight is in, so this is the one for me. I dont get why Casio dont offer more positive non-novelty displays in this range.
This is a light and versatile timepiece as well as being easy on the eye and very accurate. Great value for money. The dullness of the display takes a little time to get used to but the back light more than compensates.I haven't had the need as yet to use the Bluetooth connectivity features but will do when I travel however even without this the adjustments between time zones and daylight saving appears to be simple.What I really like about the 'solar' technology is that it totally obviates the need for the periodic replacement of batteries.
Probably the only everyday tool watch you'll ever need. Super tough, crono, 200m WR, world time to 5 simultaneous time zones, atomic-clock accurate with Multi Band 6, and and be set using bluetooth compatibility with your phone. Not to mention it's solar powered so it'll never need a battery. A minor quibble might be the negative display isn't great, but it can auto light the screen every time you raise and turn your wrist. It's not jewellery, but then it isn't meant to be. An essential time-keeping purchase.
I already have an old G Shock Protector and hoped this Yellow version was going to be a suitable upgrade. The watch is great to look at, but sadly misses the point of being a watch as the display is so dim that I cannot be read immediately. I either have to use my other hand to press the illuminator button or turn the watch to a different light angle. So its back to my 6 yr old G Shock, it is scratched and tatty but does tell me the time at a glance.
Ordered a G-Shock solar (first one, getting fed up of winding and setting time/date on all my mechanicals) 14:30hrs and received the watch next day. Great service, kept fully updated throughout the process by email from clicking buy to having the watch on wrist. Good price when compared to other retailers online and in store. Will certainly look here for my next watch.
