This model has five independent alarms - particularly practical for taking medication on a daily basis or for keeping regular appointments. At the touch of a button, the hands release the view of the digital displays, so that, for example, the stop function or day of the week can be read without restriction. The time display can be set to either 12- or 24-hour format. In 12-hour mode, a "p" in the display indicates the second half of the day, i.e. 12 noon to 11.59 pm. If desired, the button tones can be switched off with the mode button. After switching off, there is then no longer a beep when changing from one function to the next. Set alarms or countdown timers are still active after the keypad tones have been switched off.
