The A500 is absolutely a banger. This watch is a dressed up version of the Casio Royale. The A500 and the Royale are excellent travel watches if you switch timezones frequently. The 5 alarm, stop watch and countdown timer also work great.

Classic vintage timepiece

Simple yet sleek digital watch that is an affordable, smart accessory. The watch's multiple alarms are handy and easy to set, while the hourly beep harks back to a simpler time (pardon the pun). I bought the watch in a homage to my Casio nostalgia (my first watch was a Casio), but I also wanted a versatile watch perfect for work or casual attire. The world clock function gives it a 'James Bond' aura, even if not entirely practical given the ease of getting the same info with faster and easier with the swipe of a smartphone. One point to beware is the band: be sure to click it in place when putting it on, rather than just letting it latch on by itself as it can come undone.

Excellent cheap splashproof watch

Watch displays time, day & date clearly for four time zones. It is lightweight & the stainless steel strap is easily adjusted although not as easy to close as a contious bracelet. Backlight from one side is OK but Casio do a better backlight on some other models that uniformly lights the whole display. Watch is a bity fiddly to set up so instructions in very small writting need to be read fully before starting to set up watch. Best to download instructions from internet: Casio Module No. 3437. This will enable instructins to be enlarged & read more easily.

Great Value, Tasteful Vintage Throwback From Casio

Great timepiece with loads of charm and character. Good amount of functions, easy to set and operate. Love the world map display in the corner. The bracelet is very slim and comfortable to wear. While the bracelet is steel my one complaint is that the housing/case of the watch is plastic, I would've happily paid more if Casio were to have upgraded it to steel. Also worth noting it's a very small watch, works on my 180mm wrist but may not suit someone with a larger wrist circumference.
