Castelli - Aero Race 6.0 Jersey
From Split Second to Aero 6.0 The original Castelli aero jersey for road racing first saw light in 2006. It was known as the Split Second jersey. It was at a time when aerodynamics was only really considered important for time trials. Baggy cycling jerseys were the norm until that very first Castelli aero-focused jersey appeared. However, with every new version of the jersey, the aerodynamic advantages have proved to be worth far more than just a few split seconds. It’s now known as the Aero Race 6.0 Cycling Jersey - designed to take your velocity up another notch. Using CFD (Computational Flow Dynamics) to analyse wake flow, the Aero Race 6.0 will fit you even better when you're in an aggressive riding position while seam placement has been optimised to minimise drag. At speeds of between 30 and 55 km/h, the aerodynamic efficiency is optimised giving more speed without an increase of power output compared to a standard jersey. Same training. Same power. More speed. You could almost call it free speed. Cool and Fuelled Of course, riding fast, whether in training or racing, is going to generate heat. That, in turn, leads to sweat. However, the Aero Race 6.0 isn't just efficient through the air it's also efficient in dealing with moisture too. Quick wicking and with a 3D mesh back you'll be cooler and drier as you push hard on the pedals. To keep you up to speed and fully fuelled for your ride, the pockets are easily accessible when stuffed with gels and thanks to the drop tail design the jersey remains sleek even when they're loaded up. The Aero Race 6.0 Jersey is Castelli's most aerodynamically advanced design to date and yet it's also their best fitting too - Just ask their WorldTour professional riders. A remarkably comfortable high-performance cycling jersey whether it's your longest days in the saddle or a short and intense criterium race.

Great aero fit. Quality materials. Nice sleeve length, to the elbow. For me Castelli sizing is normal. If you have a dad bod, size up. 5'8", 30 waist, 36 chest. Size small is perfect.

I wore it twice already .. Great aero jersey.. the size is quite way off. Luckily I bought a size up to my standard size, One must definitely size up to make sure t fits. Good fabric seems quality but only time will tell if it stands out to the test of longevity.,

Aero and cooling built into one Jersey. Race fit and looks good. Sadly I wanted another colour but it was out of stock. Really love this jersey and would definitely get another

Already had a couple in other colors, one of my favorite two jerseys with great fit, aero and good in variety of temps (the other being Castelli climber SL for very hot days). Savile Blue Pro Red color looks very nice, goes great with dark blue bibs. 1.77m, ~66kg, size M.
Jersey is perfect. Really slim fit. Please note that sleeves in size S can be very narrow. But they stretch a little if you put them on any cylinder thicker than your arm for a while.
Had several Castelli jerseys and this is certainly the tighter fitting (though others are not aero race models) but its nothing silly as some others suggest. I’m 63kg, 173cm and went for a small. Could have actually gone for an XS if wanting a truly aero fit. Colour of the dark blue was great- like a petrol colour. Sleeves are on the long side so be careful with sizing up.
I bought 2 of these in the sale as I've never tried an aero jersey before. They're high quality as you'd expect from Castelli, they fit really well (tight, obviously), and I don't know if it's psychological but I always ride faster when I slip on the aero!
It is race fit and looks really good, I wish they have my size in another color at the same price. I have previously purchased various Castelli jerseys but looked for comfort, hence sized up 2 sizes (XXL) from my normal size (L) and some were fitting loosely. This time I wanted something more like a second skin, so I went for the size XL (despite the chart suggest size L) and fits me like a glove. For your reference, I am 177 cm height and 85 kg weight with pant size 34.
Another excellent addition to the wardrobe- with racing cut yet comfortable enough that you forget about it during the ride.Good pocket capacity.Very attractive blue / black fade and detailing - a pleasure to wear.Zips are smooth and easy to mount on the bike.Jersey doesn’t shift around during the ride.Only one thing worth bearing in mind is the sleeve length which is on the longer side (more aero).
Great fitting jersey. Very comfortable. Wicks sweat well. Good size pockets. Love Castelli gear. Tried Rapha, Le Col etc but always come back to Castelli. Size small fits perfectly. I'm 173cm and 67kgs. Skinny cyclist.
