This vest is the best! It is perfect for those days when a jersey alone isn't enough, but a jacket would become warm. It cuts out wind leaving my core warm. It's perfect rain or shine. This beat isn't too thick so you can put us over a thermal jersey or a lighter weight jersey and be comfortable in a range of conditions. The size small fits well, I may have been able to get away with an extra small for a more aero fit but overall I thinks it's true to size. For reference I am 5'3", 122 pounds, with a curvy/athletic build. I usually wear small or extra small tips in castelli but I am between size small and medium in casyelli bottoms.

This vest is the best! It is perfect for those days when a jersey alone isn't enough, but a jacket would become warm. It cuts out wind leaving my core warm. It's perfect rain or shine. Bought to replace my previous Perfetto Gilet that I broke the zip on in the dryer (I know)This one does not have as much windstopper fabric now only on the front and not on the side panels, or a flap on the zip. The zip is less robust and the vest has less reflective piping.That said, it is a little longer in the body and fits well.All said it is still a good gilet but not quite as warm due to the side panels.I can still recommend, and the sizing is true, I ordered a medium again and it still fits well. Folds up quite small and definately doesn't flap in the wind.
I purchased the Castelli ROS Vest, the size guide was spot on - I ordered a S, Im a size 6-8. I had to exchange my first order as I wasnt too keen on the colour, but it was no problem, and the exchange was really quick! The vest is perfect for those nippy downhill spins and looks very stylish!

I've been searching high and low for a gilet that doesn't flap. I was hoping to get a thin one that I could put in my pocket if I got too warm but I settled on this slightly thicker, water resistant one. I've worn it a few times now including on a recent ride in the far north of Scotland when the sun was out but the wind was freezing and it did the job perfectly. While I haven't worn this gilet in the rain, having numerous other Perfetto garments, I can attest that they do keep you dry in light rain.
Bought this having tried an alternative (cheaper) gilet, which didn’t do what I wanted it to do. This one has been tested in the rain, wind etc. It packs down small, but is brilliantly wind proof and keeps me warm. Looks great too - the gripper on the hem keeps it in place.
i love how lightweight it is and yet it works well as a windbreaker. the size chart is accurate. the small was slim fitting , not tight.
