I went with the 10W-40 weight instead of 5W-30 as I live in tropics and hence the oil temp at start up is never cold as it is in colder regions and because it is hotter here the 40 provides higher protection on hot days. My ute never runs hot, about 40% ( a bit below the half way mark) on the temp gauge before oil change, after changing to Magnatec 10W-40 it is now only at about 25%. And it runs and revs a bit better.

Castrol is a good brand we can trust. I am using Castrol from long time. It never gave me any engine troubles. Prices also reasonable and it was a great bargain with my last purchase with a big discount!

Changed to Magnatac 10W40 in my 2001 2.7 L Toyota Hilux 4 ton RV.Just completed round trip 10 K kms through the NT fuel consumptionis far better than before cruising at average 120 kmh. Runs a cooler temp. as well.Great product very happy. Oil change at 10,000 km.
My 2005 Mazda 6 has done over 550,00klm using this oil, and still going strong.This 1ltr bottle is very convenient for top ups and to keep in the car boot but is too overpriced.I suggest that super cheap auto give one of these free with a 5L oil & purchase.
Magnatec has always been on the costly side and for those budget concious might be a little too costly. However the price is worth getting at least once a year. It fully lubricates all areas but then leaves a coat that stays put in all the important places. You'll notice the difference on your first start up for the day. Smoother clean start because the oil is already there, not struggling to get there. Even a litre top up is worth the price.
I've been using 10W40 Magnatec for years in my VX V6 and very happy. Just done 200K so upgraded to this new oil. Engine seems to rev a little smoother and is quieter.
Been using Magnatec for many years. Falcon has 625000kms on the clock. Doesn't burn oil at all. Love this oil
