Potentially the best value for money engine oil when on special. Not only is it suitable for Ford turbo engines but being acea A5 it's suitable for long drain and offers excellent fuel economy. Id say it's better than Castrol edge.

This is the ONLY Engine Oil I use. My 2014 Volvo V40 has Start / Stop Fitted at the factory & Volvo Recommends CASTROL engine Oil because this engine oil is for vehicles thats fitted with Start / Stop. You need to make sure you get the correct engine oil for your vehicle. Always check the owners handbook

My engine is now smooth and clunky clunky free, i know my engine is calling on me to tell you how happy it is with its new CASTROL Magnatec Stop-Start A5 Engine Oil!

Hi Ordered Castrol Magnatec Stop-Start A5 Engine Oil 5W-30 4Lt Fully Synthetic. The Oil that was delivered was Castrol the difference was it didn`t say it was Fully Synthetic but did say it was suitable for Hybrids on the container ? They got back to me saying i didn`t ordered Fully Synthetic Oil. Check all References parts numbers the print on there site which says it`s fully synthetic on the container ! The Oil that came wasn`t up for sale on there site anyway ? The point is what`s going on, where did this Oil came from ??
Had to turn to use this Castrol Magnatec as I can no longer get the Castrol Magnatec Professional 5W-30 A5!Would have preferred the ‘Professional’ but it is what it is.Thank you,Joseph
Good to get the oil that matches the spec sheet from Ford. Unlike the car parts euro who only sell this oil in 4L bottles. This was a 5L bottle, which was handy as my car required just over 4 litres. So better value for money.
Castrol MAGNATEC Stop-Start Engine Oil 5W-30 10 Litre.It's much more convenient with a 10 Litre container, less worry about having to run short because of not enough, it's better to have more Oil than what needed, some newer Engines need more Oil, and I like the Castrol Brand, I've been using it for more than Fourty years and it's never let me down because it doesn't go sludgy like other cheaper Oils.
Magnatec has been around forever and earned a good name. Fully synthetic oils of today are so good. This oil met the spec my car required and it was on sale. What a steal!

This is a can of oil I purchased to put in my transit van . It’s sold by Halfords and is the recommended oil for my van , which is good enough for me.In 500 miles I will buy another can to change the oil again after I had the filter cleaned out 4 weeks ago ( February 2024)Obviously by then the price will have increased further , which is simply wonderful
