I was shocked that she has enjoyed this so much. Iāve told people in the past that my cats donāt really like toys. They just had the wrong toy, apparently!

I bought this toy last week and I knew my kitties would love it. However, one of my boys loves it TOO much and will growl and hiss at his brother if he comes near it.I had NEVER seen any aggression at all so it was very alarming reaction from my otherwise sweet kitty.Unfortunately I had to dispose of it. š

Every time my cat bats at it, it bounces around like a real bug. This makes the ācatchā nice and satisfying and the play time varied and interesting.2. Long wire, more play space. The length is great, and allows my cat space to pounce and jump! It also allows me to play with my cat at my desk or from the couch without having to stretch too far.3. This is by far the single greatest cat toy for any cat that likes physical stimulation! My kitten doesnāt care much about a laser dot as where my older cat loves themā¦ but this toy get my kitten playing so hard that he pants like a dog because he is out of breath. I couldnāt recommend this product anymore for the cat that likes physical interaction with toys!
Been on the wall three weeks. I shake it for her when she indicates she wants to play or seems bored. She stares. This is a cat who has rejected every herb and toy I have offered save a shoelace and an empty box. My other cats would have loved this toy. I think it should be fabulous but...it's my cat. I'll leave it up, see if she grows into it. Should be a five but because she's such a weirdo, can't judge so I went three.
Order of JG toys w 2 of these just arrived this morning. BIG HIT! Even our two momma kitties who are usually more reserved ... got into the act. Older momma who's easily overwhelmed, got a bit over-stimulated when her daughter got too close. Suddenly, she growled and hissed. Then i remembered that Jackson suggests playing with just ONE kitty at a time. Yeah. LOVE those videos! Cat Dancer is such a simple toy, brilliantly designed ... so much fun for us and kitties!! We're getting all the books, some of the toys, and the Ultimate Peacemaker tincture trio. I think we're gonna transform this kitty hangout into kitty haven! THANKS for all you do and create, Jackson. We've had a nerd herd of kitties for decades ... and somehow still learning so much more from you. :-)
While the "Cat Charmer" remains Gracie the Girl (007)'s absolute favorite cat toy of all time (see review), the "Cat Dancer" is a very close second. She goes crazy over the life-like jerky "movement of prey" that naturally happens as soon as you pick it up, no effort required. The long, thin wire is key ... it bobs and weaves uncontrollably like a flying insect ... she goes bezerk! No matter where she's at in the room, she comes running (or stalking) whenever anyone picks it up. It's such a simple toy, but so realistic. It doesn't get much easier than this. Two paws up!š¾
Cat Dancer is the safest interactive play toy I could find for a cat who chews the ends of such toys. The five small corrugated cardboard tubes on one end are safe for her to chew and grab onto. She likes Cat Dancer so much, every night she drags it into the bedroom, places it beside the bed, and leaps onto me to announce "Play time!" Throughout the day she parks beside it when it's time for exercising and outsmarting human mom with stalking strategies. No yarn, ribbon, or feathers to harm my fur and purr girl!

I'm a new cat owner and I took in a 2 year old male, we were trying a bunch of different toys to see what he liked, up until this toy we couldn't get him interested in anything. immediately when the wire started bouncing slightly up and down he was hooked! it's simple and elegant! i didn't think he would be into this as much as he is. great option for playful kitties
