This is the Best litter box I have ever used for my cats. I have bought this exact CatIt box since almost 20 years ago and I actually still have the 2 of them that I am using. They are worn looking but still in very good condition.Time to retire them so I bought 2 new ones. They are a great size and the top and bottom fit together tightly in grooves so no "Sideways"pee can escape. I use about 2 to 3 inches of litter in each one for my 3 cats and scoop and clean it out every morning and any other time if necessary. This is what works for me after many many years of working on it.

Good litter Box! Cats like it, large size, easy to clean, and made of quality materials. Really works at containing litter and helps keep it from getting all over the surrounding floor. Its roomy and has a large opening that is easy for my cats to get in and out of, even for my large cat. The clips on the sides that secure the top to the bottom are really difficult to lock into place but other than that it is great design. Once you lock the top on it fits really tightly and there are no gaps where litter and/or urine could escape. I can’t tell if the filter works or not, so far I haven’t noticed a difference in odor. Overall I recommend.

I am very please with it. I have (3) adult cats. I got so tired of litter all over the floor. I bought it about two weeks ago. I leave the door pulled back and open, because they aren't use to a close in space. I bought the large Matt to go under the Litter box. I am going to try gradually get them to go through the door. It was well worth the money. Hopefully this will be the last litter box I have to buy.
This litter box is number one for me. I now have two. It keeps the litter inside, rather than all over the floor outside like my old one. Easy to clean. No to very little odor. No need to buy the extra filters. Not even sure why they are offered. Big enough for my year old Maine Coon.
Good litter box HOWEVER, I'm pretty blown away that they didn't put a vented cover that goes over the charcoal filter on top. My cats love to claw and chew it to pull it out daily. I've attempted to tape down the edges of the filter and they still try to pull it out. This would've been an easy fix during engineering design. As well this can't be healthy for my cats if they ingest the charcoal filter. Still trying to MacGyver something to keep the filter functional and my cats safe at the same time.
Do not buy this product. Unfortunately I do not have the original packaging so I cannot return it. The clips or "locking" slides on the sides absolutely do not work (they don't actually lock). There is no way to carry the entire litter box using the handle because the locking slides don't work and the top and bottom are not securely hooked together. So frustrating. If you have a really big cat, I imagine that a big cat moving around inside could also dislodge the top from the bottom unit.
This is my favorite litter box ever. I have tried open boxes, various covered boxes- one rolled to the side to clean it, and I had bought a 'cute' litter box that had slits on top to "catch" the litter and NONE of them work as well as this litter box. Litter doesn't stick to the bottom or sides of the container which is very nice. The only way litter can get out is by cats jumping out the front but that's easily solved by putting a litter mat at the front.

Other reviewers said the litter box was large, and I even had an approximate measurement requirement based on an average of my old hodgepodge four litter boxes, but wow, the Jumbo size exceeded even my expectations.Easy to set up. I expect them to last at least as long as my old ones since the plastic seems comparable. Did have to buy another 35 pound tub of kitty litter because, yes, they really do hold a lot. Highly recommended, my cats have been using these for many years, the high sides keep debris and litter inside the box, theres considerably less scattered on the floor. Its also perfect for more than one cat, the detachable hood and base make it easy to assemble, clean and transport. Can be used with the clear flap either up or down. This is my 10th purchase over the years for family and my own cats. I wouldnt use anything else.
