I like that it absorbs well, flushable, light on cat paws, better for environment, the cats seem to like it. I clean every day soiled parts and manage to get about 2 weeks out of the other litter part before I need a complete change out. It would be better if wet clumped together better then might get more than 2 weeks before change out, and if the cats didnt kick it everywhere out of the box sometimes and make such a mess. What is it with cats looking like they trying to dig a hole to china on other side of the world, cut me stumped. Also it does tend to get tracked through the house a bit, so you can see where the cats have gone on their discovery touring and therefore does require vacuum of house more often. Yes I recommend this, provided you dont mind cleaning ... MoreI like that it absorbs well, flushable, light on cat paws, better for environment, the cats seem to like it. As with many 'flushable' products, you absolutely can't actually put this down the drain unless you want blockages or to contribute to fatbergs in the community pipes, so please don't flush it!! Aside from that, this litter is great - we've been using it for nearly 2 years with no issues - absorbs smells, clumps well, cat seems to like it. It does track a little bit around the house, but nothing a regular weekly vacuum doesn't pick up, especially since we got a litter mat

This product has great odour control. It smells like wood and doesn't have a strange chemical smell that other litters seem to have. My cats love it. Clump entusiasts will be dissapointed - it doesn't so much clump....more like holds together long enough for you to scoop in that area. Generally everthing sinks to the bottom to form a 'solid' floor. It's quite dusty when you pour it in the tray, after the that it settles down but i'd pour away from your cats. The main downside is that this will become your new carpet. IT TRACKS EVERYWHERE!!! be prepared to swap unpleasant odours for bits of wood in your socks/carpet/shoes. Have a vacuum cleaner ready at all times or get a roomba.

I had been using catmate met litter for years which I was very happy with and so were 4/5 of my pets but i have a very fussy hand raised kitten who is about 10 months old now and she would pee on the bed a lot because she didn't like the pellet litter. I tried this and no accidents since a week later. Clumps really well and I love that it is flushable makes cleaning trays multiple times a day much easier. One downside is that it's a bit messy but honestly I would only take away half a star for that considering how well it has solved my problems otherwise. Very convenient.
This has been 'our' favourite litter for many years now. Lasts well, minimal tracking. A bit dusty but much better than full clay. Wouldn't recommend for flushing as described - just sits in the bowl. Scoop and throw! Also good in potting mix for water retention.
I bought this to use in my SmartSift, but I do have a different tray for litters I don't like in the machine. I disliked this so much, that I threw out the whole bag after only a couple of days use. I was sick of dealing with it and didn't want to try it in the standard tray. It's very, very light. That does not work in the SmartSift at all. It was less absorbent than many I've tried. It did not clump at all well.
I have used expensive litter previously and went through a bag every 2 weeks as I had to change the entire tray at least every 5 days or so... it would stink of cat urine as it didn't clump. However the soft wood clumping litter was recommended by a work mate, and i just love it. Yes it tracks a bit, but easy to sweep up. It clumps the pee well, let it sit a bit for it to be absorbed. I've cleaned it up too soon, and it falls apart in the scoop. Has a slight odor leading into the 2 weeks, but its not offensive like the previous litter i used. I think its natural to have some slight odor, cats go by smell of their toilet and its natural to some extent. Place the litter tray is somewhere that's less likely to notice the smell, I recommend a well ventilated area. I scoop the tray twice daily for urine, that gives time for liquids to be absorbed and solidify.
I am so happy with this litter. Both my cats (one now deceased) love it and, whilst it does spray due to its light weight, my kitten uses a lidded litter tray and this controls the mess to just outside the flap door. Of course, your cat has to be happy using an enclosed litter box for that to work, but it makes a huge difference! I love being able to simply flush poops away and then add the wet clumps to the compost. I remove poop daily and do an in-depth clean once a week. Sometimes this involves a complete clean and other times I can just get rid of wet clumps, stir the remaining dry litter and add some fresh on top. This is the advantage of such a fine litter in that it effectively traps excrement and leaves the rest of the litter untouched.
I've tried so many litters and this is by far my favourite. Environmentally conscious is a non negotiable for me, and this takes it one step further because it lasts so long while trapping odours that you use a lot less as well. It?s affordable, easy to clean (scoop the poop straight into the loo because it's flushable) and most importantly the cats actually like it. One downside and I'm accepting it because it's perfect in every other way, because it's relatively fine and lightweight - it does get onto the cats fur while they're in the litter box and even with a paw mat they unintentionally carry it all over the place so I do have to vacuum more often than I usually would. BUT they are ragdolls so there's a lot of fur for it to attach too, may not be an issue with ... MoreI've tried so many litters and this is by far my favourite. I grew up with a cat using crystal litter and when I moved out and got my own cats I continued using crystals. Whilst crystals do hide the smell, I hated how despite numerous measures to stop tracking I'd still step bare foot on a crystal somewhere in the house. I did flush them too and I don't think you're meant to flush them. If you don't change the litter every 3 days the wee just gathers in the bottom because the crystals don't have great absorption. I switched to another litter... then another... until finally landing on this flushable clumping litter. I've recommended it to all my friends. It clumps the wee and attaches to the poops so you can just scoop it right out and flush it down the toilet. The litter is so soft on paws that my girls love it. Because it clumps so well, I change the litter less than once a week and it is still clean. It does track... but I've since built an enclosed litter cupboard with IKEA rug underlay inside and that stops 90% of litter within the cupboard. I find that I do smell poops every now and then so maybe the thing that could be improved is the masking of smells. Luckily for us the kitty litter cupboard is in the spare bathroom so the smell isn't near anything important (like kitchen) plus we clean the poops and wees out twice a day so it keeps it fresh.
