I’ve been using this for a few months now and recently started using with the serum and night cream, and the results are stunning. Some might say it’s expensive but in my opinion it’s a huge value. I haven’t even used a quarter of the bottle and I’ve had the product since May and it’s now July. I use it twice daily and probably skip about 2 days a week (sometimes you just don’t feel like it!) and I am someone who has suffered from dark under eyes all my life and severe hyperpigmentation to the point where I look like I’m recovering from getting punched in the face. I also love the fact that it’s an essence so you can easily put some on if you’re in a hurry to at least do some type of skincare to your face and it absorbs and dries very quickly. It feels like splashing a bit of water on your face honestly, but my face loves it. I also love how the bottle doesn’t dispense a ton even when you shake it because I would totally use too much because it’s straight liquid! You can use a cotton pad to apply it as well but I just pat it onto my skin gently with my hands. I will absolutely order this again when it gets close to running out. I really don’t want to be without it!

First of all I just want to mention that this product isn't a toner/astringent nor should be use in place of one. Essences skin benefits are closer to a serum rather than a toner. If you have an essence and a serum you don't have to use them both at the same time. In K beauty, you'd use a toner than a essence, followed by a serum. Also, don't buy this thinking that it's going to deeply exfoliate your skin because no. Again there's better out there for less or similar amount of money. I wouldn't purchase the full size and wouldn't recommend.

It feels like splashing water on my face, not acid. That's a good thing for a super sensitive gal. I always feel a huge difference if I stop using this for a little bit after using it regularly. When I use it my skin is clear and bump free. When I don't I start feeling congested and looking like I need a facial scrub. This bottle is huge and lasts a while. I'm on my second bottle, use it every night and have yet to make a dent. I pay for this with my own money and will forever continue to do so (but hey Caudalie if you want to send me a free bottle I won't be mad ;)

This glycolic essence is wonderful. I dab several drops onto my palm and then distribute onto my face with my fingers and pat it into my skin nightly. It absorbs very well. I like that it doesn't have a strong scent. This essence is gentle and causes no reaction or irritation on my face. I prefer gentle exfoliants so I gravitate towards glycolic acid. Recommend this product.
I love this stuff. It's pricey, yes, but it will last a long time. You don't need a lot to achieve great results. Essences are a great addition to your skin-care routine if you are interested in it. They help enhance the effects of your serums and moisturizers by essentially allowing other products to penetrate deeper into your skin. Not only that, but it's very hydrating and brightening. It will smooth your skin, give you a glow, and help reduce any pigmentation overtime. It's a great addition to have. It also doesn't make your skin burn or feel irritated, it's very gentle.

I still haven’t quite finished my first bottle (about 1/4 to 1/3 left), but am thinking that I will repurchase. These things don’t work overnight, you have to give them time.
I just bought my 2nd bottle of this essence, since my 1st is about to run out. I have to have it. I feel that my skin is softer, and my skin is much clearer after using it on my 50+ skin (with sun spots/melasma). It has no detectable/offensive odor, and a little goes a long way; my current bottle has lasted a year+ at this point. It doesn't break me out or make my skin red, although I have never had sensitive skin. I use it after washing my face and before the Caudalie serum (I have both the dark spot & the retinol alternative formulas). I know they're pricy, but personally, I think they're worth it.
This is one of the best products I’ve ever used and it’s significantly changed my skin… BUT…. my latest purchased has left me too scarred (literally) to order this product again. I bought my second bottle recently and when it arrived, the cap looked completely different. The cap was significantly sharper than before and flared out. I tried my best to carefully open the product, but still sliced the palm of my hand. Luckily I still had my old bottle, so I switched the caps. I sent Caudalie an email and they said it must have been “damaged or overly-pressed” and to just go back to Sephora and exchange it for a different bottle. Kind of a dismissive response. It was definitely over-pressed and that’s on Caudalie, not Sephora.
I purchased this along with the brightening gift set. When I initially used this, it made my cheeks red. I reduced the number of times because clearly it was reacting to my skin. I then tried to do it every other day and it produced tiny bumps on my skin! I tried to return it but unfortunately I was outside of the return window.
