Caudalie - Vinopure Purifying Toner 200ml

I received this product for free to write a review #freeproduct. I received this along with the serum and face wash that is part of this line. This is by far my favorite of the three products. I used it every morning after rinsing my face with cold water. I put it on a cotton pad and gently pressed it into my skin. It has no strong or lingering scent that I can determine. It leaves my skin feeling clean and a little dry. It is not too drying which is a concern of mine with toners that typically have acids. For example, the AHA toner by Glow Recipe is extremely stripping. This felt nice and helped reduce acne as well as marks from old acne faster than usual. I've already purchased my second bottle. Would definitely recommend it.

This toner is really nice for acne prone skin. The packaging is nice and the light green color is so pretty! The 6.7fl oz size is pretty big and will last quite a while. It's the most heavily scented out of the collection in my opinion, it's a really clean scent that reminds of citronella but it doesn't irritate my skin and is natural, so it's not terrible, just strong. It removes excess oil so it's really great for oily skin. It targets pores/imperfections and over time can help tighten pores. Overall it's a great product, I just usually prefer more of a hydrating toner for everyday use, but I'll definitely keep using this when my skin is breaking out. #trywithtopbox #freeproduct

Let me start by saying I have oily and sensitive skin and I deal with rosacea, acne scarring, acne, and texture. With all of these issues, I have a hard time finding products that will work well with my skin without causing any irritation. Good product, helped to control my hormonal breakout

I bought this together with the range of other products in the vinopure range. I received a sample of this toner when I had a hormonal breakout in my 40s and have used many other products to no avail. I love the minty smell of this toner, it's watery and light, the only gripe I have is that it has a slight soapy consistency when you apply it to your face, I find that with this product, less is more. I prefer to use a cotton pad to apply rather than hands so that I can wipe, then use whatever that's left on the cotton pad to rest on those breakouts that are still active to soak in more. Although this product has salicylic acid, it's formulation does not dry out my skin, in fact it miraculously reduced the redness on my normally sensitive skin. My skin is the best it’s ever been!

My skin had always been pretty good, but at 41 (and after having had my daughter just over 2 years ago) I had started to get awful hormonal breakouts around my chin, jawline and neck. For around 2 weeks a month my skin would be fine, and then for the remaining weeks it would feel (and look) like an oil slick! It really knocked my confidence and so I started researching cleansers. Only product that’s ever stung me

I do not have sensitive skin at all. I have never reacted to anything before. I wouldn’t even really say I had a reaction to this. But it’s the first skincare product ever that I have not been able to use at the maximum recommended frequency. After about one week of using it as my twice daily toner, my face started to turn red where I applied it, and I felt a mildly painful burning sensation.After that, it took another week of not using it for my skin to calm down. I now use it once daily and it seems to be fine, but I have to be careful not to go anywhere near my eyes, and to not accidentally go over the same area twice. Perfect for extremely oily sensitive skin!

I was SO scared to try this because my skin is so sensitive and prone to rosacea and redness, and this has alcohol and some essential oils which are typically big no-no's for sensitive skin, but Caudalie has not let me down yet!! (I do not use the matching serum and moisturizer though, because I think that might be too much all together. I use their Vinosource hydrating line for these steps).This does not dry me out too much, but I only use it on my very oily areas (nose and chin). This is a toner that you definitely want to use a cotton pad with; it's very watery and you only need a small amount. It has a wonderful cooling sensation and immediately tightened my pores. This product doesn't list the percentage, which means it is less than 0.5%. I have been able to use once daily in the morning, sometimes skipping a day if I don't feel that oily, and it does not over-exfoliate me. At night I use TO's azelaic acid and these are my only two actives.For some background, I previously was on low dose tretinoin which cleared out my severely congested skin, but my skin never really fully acclimated to the dryness it caused, so I quit it for this summer (didn't want to deal with the extreme sun sensitivity again!) and am focused on maintenance by gentle exfoliation. I say this to note that I am not currently treating active acne with this, just to maintain clear pores and prevent acne from developing. This really helps control my oil production in the T-zone, more than anything else I have tried.If you are really sensitive, give Caudalie a try! Although they use fragrances and alcohol in some products, their formulations are made with sensitive skin in mind, and really it is all in the formulation, not just ingredients (unless you have a specific allergy).

You NEED this!

I am presuming if you are looking at this product that you, like me, have or are considering purchasing this for blemish prone skin. Well let me tell you... At 46 years old I was still looking for the holy grail of skin care products for my skin type - oily, uneven, tired, large pores and prone to blemishes. Well (touch wood), it would seem I've finally found it! Honestly, this toner is fantastic. It helps rid you of any leftover grotty bits after cleansing, leaving the skin instantly feeling softer and looking revitalised. Cannot recommend this range and product enough. Love that this comes supersized too.

insane acne causer, for skin that never gets acne

With that said, there are ingredients in this line of skincare that people like me just should not use frequently. For instance, this toner contains BHA, which increases sun sensitivity, so wearing sunscreen - although recommended - should be a MUST!I don't like the scent od this product, to be honest.
