I'm pretty devoted to this brand, and I bought this because I love all other products that I've purchased. The scent from the hand and nail cream from this line is light and pleasant (my husband says it smells like oranges), so I thought the scent from this lotion would be the same (or close). The scent from this lotion is strongly floral. I wouldn't call it a "fake" floral smell, and someone who likes strongly scented rose perfume might like it. The texture is also a bit watery, although it does absorb quickly. I would have rated 4 stars because of the texture, but I just can't get past the scent.

Was very curious about the smell after reading other reviews. It has a light scent that reminds me of freshly cut flowers. Light hints of rose and lilac with an earthy undertone, almost like what I imagine it would smell like to crush a real rose and lilac flower and stem together. If you are looking for unscented this may not be for you. If you are someone who likes to garden and enjoys the smell of plants, this might be right up your alley! It isn’t the exact same scent, but it reminds me of walking into a floral shop for freshly cut flowers.Overall, I like it and am looking forward to using the product. If it begins to smell differently (badly) over time I will update my review.

As moisturizers go it's a pretty ok one. Ingredients-wise it's quite basic, not anywhere near as natural or organic as the brand promotes itself as being, but the product itself is not actually that bad. It's a runny consistency which pretty much pours out if you're not careful and sinks in although not entirely - it leaves my skin (arms in this case) feeling slightly moist but not sticky or greasy. An inoffensive enough body moisturizer but not one I'd go out and purchase again, unless on special offer. ~ My Top 5 Beauty Must-Have list ~1. Hair Loss Treatment: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Hair Oil2. Shampoo: 'Sephora Collection' - Deep Cleaning Shampoo3. Face Mask: ‘Peter Thomas Roth’ – Pumpkin Enzyme Mask4. Pigmentation/Anti-Aging Serum: ‘Divine Herbal’ - Facial ... This Caudalie body lotion is divine. Its so silky and moisturising yet fairly light weight. It sinks in nicely but you feel enveloped in moisture. The orange blossom scent is delightfully fresh and lingers on the skin for hours. It does wonders for my sun damaged areas too, smoothing and plumping creepiness. Totally recommend for all skin types.
Light texture, absorbs quickly, goes a long way. My partner and I are both very sensitive to fragrance, this lotion luckily does not bother us however it’s not the best scent. Sort of fruity grape, sort of powdery rose. Love the way my skin looks and feels but I would definitely swap this for something that performed the same, was all natural, and smelled better.
This is the product that turned me on to the Caudalie brand! I bought a bottle in Paris and now I order online every time I run out. I just adore the way my skin feels when I use it. It absorbs quickly and is never greasy. It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated yet it’s light and breathable. The scent is just a hint and so different from any other lotion. I’d describe it as botanical. This is my most favorite body lotion ever and I’ll keep on buying it!
I love this lotion, it's light and love to use it specifically for the arms. I like something a little thicker on my legs. Caudalie has great products and always reasonable prices. I think I may need to switch to something thicker in the winter months but this is my go to moisturizer for warm weather. It has a nice texture and the scent isn't too overpowering, it's a clean scent that mixes well with any perfume you choose .
Received a sample of this in the travel kit. Couldn't get over the lovely smell (in a good way)! It reminds me of something from my childhood, maybe because I smell a hint of grape? Absorbs so fast and really hydrates! My chest, neck, and elbows are looking amazing and I didn't think they were "problems" to begin with! I bought the largest bottle available as quickly as I could!
I was very disappointed to see that the soin corps nourrisant / nourishing body lotion that I bought several bottles of while visiting Montreal a few years ago has been discontinued. I have had problems with lotions causing me to break out in hives or other types of rashes my entire life due to my allergies, but only products containing jojoba cause me to have reactions so severe that it looks like a burn. I sincerely wish the jojoba plant would go extinct so people would stop using it in products as it has become so ubiquitous that it is getting nearly impossible to find products that don’t contain it.
I normally prefer really thick moisturisers has I have very dry skin - but even though the texture of this is lightweight and watery its incredibly hydrating. It leaves a nice glow on the skin that everyone notices and compliments. The scent is also nice and light. You can build it up by pairing it with an oil or leaving it be. Great for the heat as doesn't feel overly sticky and thick. 100% recommend.
