Once I got the hang of not putting my eyes so close to the eye piece, they work great. I love hiking and they came in handy watching eagles soar overhead and watching a doe and her fawn from quite far away. . They have bak4 technology and it really outdoes my friends K9. K9 is the chinese version of bak7. For the price, they're excellent. Fast and prompt service. Kudos

I don't think that you will find a better pair of binoculars on the market for the money. Yes, you can definitely buy Zeiss, Swarovski and Steiner's that are more technically fashionable and possess all the "wow factor" specs, but you will pay anywhere from 10 to 20 times what I paid for these 10x42 Celestron's. These remind me a lot of the Nikon Pro's in weight, feel and clarity, yet they are still almost half the price of the Nikon Pro's. I shopped pretty hard before deciding on these and my wife and I are both exceptionally satisfied and would highly recommend these binoculars for the normal tasks of bird watching or hunting because we've used them for both! Excellent Value in our opinion!

I bought these as a birthday gift for my partner in advance of a safari trip, and they were superb! Lightweight, and convenient for carrying with excellent image quality and brilliant magnification. They worked well in low light conditions and have a nice feel to them! Would definitely recommend for any wildlife trips and will be taking them on our next jaunt along the coast!

Nice crisp image to the edge, and colours look spot on to me. Solid build, the hinge is smooth but tight enough to stay in position. Focus wheel works well and the diopter is very tight, which stops it from being accidentally moved. Twist up eye cups could do with a fraction more relief and don't feel that sturdy but they lock when in the up position. I've only been using for a few weeks now so no idea if they'll stand the test of time but they do come with a decent warranty from Celestron. All in all I think that these binos are great value for money.
I was just a beginner when I bought this. Initially I was wondering if this is a good binoculars or not. However, after learning how to use it, I found it to be a great thing. All you have to learn is proper mechanical settings. It can be used for wide range of activities which include Bird Watching, Marine use, Any Outdoor activities, sports and even Astronomical Activities sometimes. There is only one drawback. It is not excellent for people with large eye pupils.
These are a nice size, medium. Not the pocket size but a little larger and come in a nice storage bag. They have removable rubber covers on all four lenses and come with a flat but thin neck strap. They are a nice medium distance lenses with good clarity and light, great for bird watching. A great all around value for the price.
I bought these binoculars for watching wild life. I love the feel of them. They are comfortable to hold and easy to adjust and for me they are lightweight compared to my last pair. While looking through them the image you are looking at is crystal clear. I love the case and the cleaning tool that came with it. I did buy the 3 year extended warranty just in case I drop them. I can not wait to use them on my vacation out west in a couple more months. Great product at a great price.
For the price this is a fantastic set of binoculars. You can spend hundreds more and get a somewhat better set of binoculars but honestly you have the be a real aficionado to tell the difference. I purchased them primarily for MLB games and they are perfect for sports usage. Football, hockey, basketball cant beat them for the price
We bought these binoculars to take on a trip. The image quality was excellent, the brightness and clarity were fantastic and showed us amazing things. We were sharing between to of us, and one of us wears glasses, so we were adjusting quite a lot and found them quick and easy to use. I would highly recommend these.
pro's: waterproof, fog proof - I guess though haven't tested; reasonably light for the size, well armored , eye caps are attached to the unit though I'm not convinced the larger ones will last long (both are rubber and therefore soft and may tear), case and straps are nylon and pretty rugged, they do focus with incredible clarity as close 12-15 feet away almost like a macro lens on my Nikon, Find them comfortable to hold and well balanced and of course the pricecon's: I've had difficulty adjusting them to my face and eye spacing. they seem to have a tiny margin where the view is good but if I move them the slightest I get that black slice showing in the optics; the clarity of the view over 200 yds distance is not great - the further away the worse it gets though ... Morepro's: waterproof, fog proof - I guess though haven't tested; reasonably light for the size, well armored , eye caps are attached to the unit though I'm not convinced the larger ones will last long (both are rubber and therefore soft and may tear), case and straps are nylon and pretty rugged, they do focus with incredible clarity as close 12-15 feet away almost like a macro lens on my Nikon, Find them comfortable to hold and well balanced and of course the pricecon's: I've had difficulty adjusting them to my face and eye spacing. they seem to have a tiny margin where the view is good but if I move them the slightest I get that black slice showing in the optics; the clarity of the view over 200 yds distance is not great - the further away the worse it gets though it's not blurred but just not crystal clear (got a pair of old flea market bio's $30 type that do a better job; as another reviewer mentioned - the focus wheel needs to be turned a lot from close to far to focus, the most turns of any of the others I have (5 pair of different power and size and brands), don't do well in dim light either, such as dawn and dusk, which is a downside for huntersSo overall, for the price I think they are a good buy and are more than fine for bird watching but for distance viewing (quarter mile or more) perhaps fair to middlin' only
