These perform incredibly well for the price. From my home in NJ I can see in Manhattan, Brooklyn & Staten Island with pristine accuracy. Some of the things I can see that impressed me was the Barclays & Verrazano. It's unreal how powerful these are and again for that price, you can't beat that with a bat.

These are the higher end of the early entry binoculars. The images are clear and the zoom range offers good coverage of objects. I would describe these as near full size binoculars that come with their own strap and carry pouch. The eye cups and grip are comfortable.

Bought these Celestron G2 10-30 Zoom Binoculars to enhance the view of the city we have living on the side of a mountain. After prompt delivery from B&H tried them out, and no matter how they were adjusted and stabilized could not get a clear image, so they were sent back. B&H recommended the Nikon Aculon A211 zooms which are significantly better and yes more expensive but worth the price.
Had a couple and given as a gift too. Had a set of 10x50, but it was hard to find things, so zoom really helps. Similar Nikon Aculon 10-22x50 is clearer, more wether/fog/glare resistant, and keeps better focus while zooming, but the Celestron is 1/4 the cost and works fine. Nikon has a lower zoom range (22 vs 30x), but 30x is fine for finding things before zooming in. There are cheaper, nearly identical copies. I've seen a few in stores and they were all cloudy and poorly collimated (misaligned).
The Celestron Up Close G2 10-30x50 are very nice binoculars for the price. Having the ability to zoom on binoculars is not very common in my experience and makes these binoculars that much more special. Everything about these binoculars feels and seems quality. I haven't had them very long, but so far they are holding up to light use extremely well. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of binoculars.

Contrary to what some reviewers have said, these binoculars are neither too heavy or too powerful to be hand-held. They have a very solid tripod mount if you want to have a stable platform. (You can either buy or make an adapter to mount it.) They work well and produce a sharp bright image. I had an extra camera strap that worked perfectly. The case strap was not only fashioned illogically, but it had a twist in it as well. A few minutes of ripping stitches and re-stitching produced the strap that SHOULD have been on the case. Had I not been familiar with Celestron quality I would have questioned optics that came with such cheap and cheaply made accessories. I think Celestron would do well to invest a little more in better quality materials and manufacture of these components. The case itself is fine; heavy nylon, slightly padded and neither dust nor moisture proof.
I wasn't expecting this to be a very good as this has a cheap prize. However, lens are clear and zooming is good as well. This is actually better than my celestron nature monocularPrize of this has been increased after I made the purchase (for $59)
