Literally just purchased this and used it for my normal routine, unfortunately I want to return this already, it's not grippy once you start sweating a little.
I used to have a yoga mat which was too thin and gave some pain on my knees and wrists. But I didn’t want too much cushioning either and this one is perfect. It’s hard at the same time has good thickness so very nice for any exercises on mat.However, for extra grip, I found it’s still little slippery sometimes but not a big issue.
I bought this three months ago and rarely use it because of how uncomfortable it is. Other reviews seem to love it, but I find it so so slippery, in yoga poses such as downward dog, my hands start sliding forward. There's also a bit of texture on the matt so my hands start hurting after 10 minutes of use. The length is nice, but I find it unbearable to use. I'm going to return it tomorrow and get a different matt.
The grip is amazing compared to standard mats. Durable fabric is comfortable and prevents elbow slip with core exercises.
