The reason I bought this particular battery is my last Century Overlander Battery I installed in my previous 4x4 lasted over 10 years without any hick ups, I sold the vehicle to update to a new Pajero Sport so who knows how many more years I would have got out of it.I like the fact that the New Overlander now also has extra terminals with wing nuts supplied for the extra accessories we add and somewhere to connect them to, Century if you are reading this, it would have been nice if you also supplied a couple of 0.10 cent spring washers to go with the wing nuts to help the wing nuts from coming loose from the vibration a 4x4s can have. I just transferred it into my old Landrover Series as the primary battery, that test it's vibration resistance!I notice that they come with 36 months warranty now, up from 24 months when I bought mine. Not cheap to buy up front, but worth it if you go to rugged places, I've had cheaper batteries die from vibration.

I thought I’d try this brand for the first time after using more expensive premium brands for decades. Tested battery when I got it home and was an ‘out of box’ failure, probably a cell. SCA also retested with a professional battery tester when I returned it and confirmed the same. SCA was good to deal with, though inconvenient having to return it.
Great quality with solid construction. The weight is well balanced and the CCA makes a difference to starting my KZJ95R Prado. The terminal posts are well positioned and the auxillary posts allow my lights and other items to be connected. Really happy with the product.
I needed a replacement battery for the dual battery system which has both accessory and starting needs. Searched the internet and landed on the Century battery. Phoned Supercheap and they were able to beat the best price I found. Picked the battery up later that afternoon from the local store. Thanks heaps for the great service.
Cables on my Hilux couldn’t reach the terminals. The terminals on this battery are towards the front of the battery (closer to headlight) meaning the cables didn’t reach the terminals. The previous battery (not a Century) I had the terminals at the back (towards the windshield). Probably a great battery, disappointed I was not advised about being aware to ensure the cables reach; I was told “it’ll suit your car”.
Im yet to replace one. Always sold the car before the battery gave up. Great good ol Aussie battery. Highly Recommended. Love the 2 extra terminals.
The Goto Battery Brand for all of my cars. Century Batteries may be slightly higher priced than other brands but I generally get at least 5 years life. A very reliable battery with longtime use.
so far so good, Ozie made tough, lower CCA but it is tougher, my last one was ultra 820CCA but it died without a warning, looks like 2 cells failed so decided to get a tougher with lower CCA 765 I think as it sits in side a 4x4.Only needs minimum 520CCA, also it has a deeper discharge rate to the standard so can be used as a dual battery. good warranty mind you my other died after 4 or 5 years.
