I have always strugged with keratosis pilaris on my thighs but in the last few months it has taken over my entire leg on both legs. Even when I would shave my legs, you couldn't tell at all: that's how bumpy my calves, thighs, and quads have been. It's bothered me immensely and I recently noticed the start of strawberry legs. I am very impressed with this moisturiser. One thing I really like is the packaging. I can very easily squeeze, and control the amount needed without making a mess. The texture is creamy and thick, non greasy, and aborbs very easily into the skin. When applying this cream, it needs a tiny bit of pressure to rub it in, which I believe further helps with the exfoliation process. Although there is a slight stickiness, my skin looked and felt instantly smooth and moisturised. I even noticed that hours later my skin still felt moisturised, which never happens with other creams. With continued use I've actually noticed that the bumpy parts of my skin look a lot smoother. Also a little bit goes a long way so I feel like this cream will last me for awhile. Definitely would recommend using these two for keratosis pilaris.

I tried this cream as well as the foot version and the salicylic foaming cleanser after hearing great things about them.I was severely underwhelmed with all 3.Actually, I’ve been underwhelmed with every Cerave product that I’ve tried.This lotion isn’t BAD, but it isn’t worth the hype and there are much better options available if you’re willing to spend that little bit extra.It did nothing for my keratosis Pilaris or ingrown hairs.It has a nice texture, is a fantastic price for the size and has great ingredients but it just didn’t do much for me.The best use that I found for it, was as a moisturiser on my legs after shaving. When you apply it on wet skin, it takes ages to soak in and you have to keep rubbing it in. However when you apply it on dry skin, it's very difficult to rub in, it dries super quickly and gets tacky and is not smooth. Then after it has dried in, your skin is left feeling tacky and rough, not smooth at all. I had to apply a body oil on top just so my skin could be smooth again. I shouldn't need that additional step with such a highly rated product. This is the second cerave product I bought due to the hype however it is also a disappointment like the first one. Shame. Thi SA smoothing cream is really good. It really does fix dry patches, this is a great foot cream. IT really does target dry areas and is fragrance free perfect for eczema etc. I used this for eczema and had a friend who had blister patches that dried up into flakey skin and this applied everyday really helped the skin barrier to heal. It is rare to find a cream like this. This is a bit too heavy for the face however really good to lock in moisture for the body. It is great for skin conditions that dry the skin out and repairs the barrier. What i love about cerave is that it is dermatologist approved

The price is affordable, the consistency is ok (though I personally am not a big fan of how thick it is). Overall, this is an ok product—it maintains moisture in the skin, does not irritate, is absorbed without leaving any greasy residue, but also does not provide visible reduction the tiny bumps on my skin.
