I have been using Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser for several months now and it has quickly become one of my favorite skincare products. Its is fragrance free so many people that hate scents in their beauty/skincare products you definitely need to take a look or a leap of faith with this cleanser (any of the Cerave cleansers). I use this at night and leaves my face clean and supple however this will not be able to get off waterproof mascara. If i wear waterproof mascara i will go in with micellar water or a oil cleaner then my Cerave. This cleanser will get a full face off and it gets my mascara off just fine if im not using a waterproof mascara. I dont mine though. I have never heard of anyone complaining that this is stripping or drying. Cerave as a whole is amazing and the reason its a holy grail for everybody is because its simple,.simple in a good way. The ingredients are straight to the point meaning everything your skin needs and loves and nothing more. Sometimes drying a new product ruins my skin barrier or the winter months leave me dry and i know that i can go back to my Cerave products to get my skin repaired, healthy and glowing again. Another reason I love this is because it's actually dermatologist used, approved and recommend which means alot . If you have not tried this cleansers you need too. Just the price point alone is incredible because you really get a bang for your buck. Cerave got it right. I hope this helps everyone.

Leaves my skin feeling soft, plump, hydrated and CLEAN which is a hard balance to strike! My 17 year old daughter loves it for her acne and at 42, I love it for its hydrating glow effect. Rinses so fast and easily, usually in only 4 splashes at the bathroom sink, which my back is soo grateful for. I’ve been using this consistently for over a year and this is how I use it: I use as my first wash to break down any makeup, dirt, or previous skincare residue, and then I rinse. Then I use it as my last wash and rinse because it pre-hydrates my skin before moisturizing. I sometimes use a scrub in-between the first and last wash. But if I only wash with one product, it’s this one, back to back. I wasn’t expecting anything from this cleanser, just that it got the job of cleaning my face done. However, the trip was coming to an end and I was absolutely heartbroken over the fact that this bottle is 8 ounces, which exceeds the 3 ounce limit. If you have oily skin, this product is for you, if you wear makeup or not. I will recommend this cleanser until the day I die.

It gives an extra hydration boost for my dry skin with the hyaluronic acid while strengthening my skin barrier with the added ceramides. I use it am/pm. One pump is enough for me to cover my face and neck. It has a lotion texture once pumped so there is barely any lather but yet feels like it lathers when on your face. A really nice clean feeling without that tight sensation I sometimes run into with some cleansers. Leaves my skin feeling really soft even before applying the rest of my routine. Price point is great! One bottle lasts me about 2ish months with am/pm use. I honestly did not like this product. I got it awhile ago and gave it to my mom. It does not leave your skin with that “squeaky clean” feeling. To me, it sorta felt like I had a thin layer of Vaseline or Aquaphor on my face that wouldn’t wash off. It’s a weird feeling. Don’t let that discourage you from trying it out, though, I was just looking for something else. But, I can definitely say this is a hydrating face cleanser. Since it leaves that feeling, you know for sure it is not stripping your skin of everything. I decided to buy this to make removing my makeup easier and to start taking care of my skin while I'm young so that future me will be grateful! I saw this product a lot on Tik Tok as people loved it so I decided to get this version as I do have quite dry skin and this is the best thing I have brought so far this year! Removing makeup is no longer an issue with me as I find with micellar water, I would still have small amounts of makeup on my face, especially mascara. This however just makes the makeup melt off your face even mascara! I also find my skin is nowhere near as dry as before and it feels and looks much healthier and clear. I've used gels and other cleansers that don't lather, so that didn't bother me, but all cleansers I every used at least made me feel like I removed something from my face; this only felt like a mask of lotion, even after rinsing it off. Time to cut back on trying new products with this inflation. Too expensive to just be throwing this money away. I guess I should have read the reviews on the "moisturize" first. Ugh.

My favorite face wash

This is my absolute favorite face wash after using it everyday for well over 5 months. I can safely say that I have no breakout and my pores are not clogged. It easily removes mascara and eyebrow pencil and all of that. My skin looks healthy and I always follow up with my serums and moisturizers along with a layer of shea butter. This cleanser is really a must have. Yes, it feels weird washing your face without lather but when you do wash, make sure your face is wet first...like really wet. Take one or two pumps of this and massage it in little circles on your face. Give yourself a little face massage. Wash off with warm water and I tell you, your skin will look fabulous right out of the shower!! Not great.

I've always used the blue cerave daily facial cleanser. When I went to restock, they were sold out and only had this. Thought I would try it since it looked the same but with extra moisturizing. Tbh I'm not impressed..at all. The blue one is a clear facial cleanser that sudds up when you rub it together. This one does not at all, it is a white cleanser and it literally feels like rubbing conditioner on your face. 🤮 Honestly washing my face is the most important part of each shower to me and honestly the part I look forward to. 😂 Since I bought this cleanser I dread washing my face because of how it feels. ( I always avoid getting conditioner on my face and this feels like I'm doing exactly that.) My face has been clear for 98% of my life and now I have little bumps along my hairline on my forehead, on my chin, and on my cheeks. AFTER ONLY A FEW DAYS USING IT. I don't know what else to say besides that I thought this would be SIMILAR to the daily cleanser and it's absolutely NOT. I honestly hate it and dread using it every day. It's so bad I had to go searching for ANYWHERE to write a review and I rarely write them. I gave it 2 stars because my face feels clean but the actual product and results are wack but I mean some people like it so.. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
