Love all CeraVe products! My sister was suffering from really bad dry skin, which actually comes off. She tried all the sensitive skin products, nothing worked for her until she tried CeraVe! Now she is using all CeraVe skincare products. It helps to balance skin moisture and hydrated dry skin. It’s great for sensitive skin. On a friendly note- Hydrating cleanser bar is economically friendly than the facial cleanser but works exactly the same ;)

This is my all time favorite cleanser. I used to only use the cerave hydrating gel cleanser in the pump bottle but picked this up one day at the store to try out. Haven’t gone back to the pump bottle. For some reason I feel like this version of the product works better to cleanse the face, while also using less product. The bar lasts for months without running out and doesn’t strip my face of moisture. I also like how easily portable it is. Instead of needing to transfer some of the cleanser into a smaller container when flying/traveling, and risking leaks, I can pop the bar into a travel container and take it with me easily. Almost all the ingredients are very gentle. However, it contains a great deal of petroleum, petroleum is something that is non comedogenic and not good for sensitive skin, and is very pore clogging, which is exactly why it gave me bad breakouts. They should not claim something is for sensitive skin or is non comedogenic if it has something so pore clogging in it. So they almost got it right with the ingredients but had to ruin it with something that clogs pores so badly. Petroleum serves no purpose for the skin and should not be put on the skin. Have used Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple for YEARS and I still love it. But was trying to find a facial cleanser that is a bar, instead of liquid, especially for travel…..to reduce the liquid allowance in my carry on bags. Decided to try this CeraVe hydrating cleansing bar- unscented, since I am very sensitive to fragrances. It works gently and effectively on my sensitive, aging skin. It has the added benefit of less single use plastic than liquid cleanser and is much less expensive than my Purity Made Simple liquid cleanser.
Great product (cleanser) with the added bonus of being more environmentally and travel friendly???! YES PLEASE! This and their bottled, liquid facial cleanser are the first products that really made a difference on my slightly stubborn, acne prone skin where others have failed me, making CeraVe facial cleansers a go to for me. It's a good alternative body wash if you need a sensitive one, too.And seriously, did I mention travel friendly?? Traveling with a bar for face wash revolutionized an irritating part of traveling for me.I have family members with eczema who also like these bars for hand washing
Such a wonderful product, so kind to my skin. After use leaves no unpleasant residue or skin tightness, just lovely soft skin. No added perfume smell like normal soaps, only a subtle cleanser smell. Worried it might cause spot flare up but has actully really helped that. First week or so of use my skin did adjust from regular soap to this cleanser bar, however stick with it, you will see the benefit. Also pleased it can be used for body, has super rich lather and I find it easier to use, store and travel with in bar form. Lasts longer if you pat dry or store away from bathroom water but lasts a good amount of time regardless. While I'd love the price point to be a little lower have to say for me it is worth it. Happy skin means I'm never going back to other products!
Loooooove this soap. Finally a bar soap that doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped! And I’ve tried a ton! This actually lathers and feels great. I’ve used it for about a month and though I can’t attest to it helping with acne since my facial and body acne is a bit random, but I can say I love that I can wash both my body and face with it which I’ve honestly never done! It’s also great to travel with and I love that it’s something both my husband and I can use! Now I don’t need to pack separate liquid cleanser and body wash

I have super sensitive, hormonal cystic acne prone skin and this soap is gentle enough for every day, twice a day use with moisturizing properties that makes my skin actually glow. I will pair this with the foaming acne cleanser by this brand for breakouts, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin texture and pore size. I’ve actually gotten control of my breakouts and haven’t had any serious outbreaks since I started using these products. It lasts me quite awhile, and is super affordable. I swear by this brand and this particular product, as I have tried so many and this is the only one that agrees with my sensitive, combination skin. Terrible product. The so called masking fragrance is as bad as the laundry detergent aisle. No soap needs a masking fragrance. The smell lingered on my skin, the wash cloth and even the towels. It creates a burning sensation in the throat and is harmful to asthmatics. No soap needs ant kind of fragrance. This is not a fragrance free soap and a masking fragrance is still a fragrance. I suspect this is the reason why this soap was on clearance at Walgreens.
