CeraVe Hydrating Cleansing Bar, 4.5 oz

An absolute must have cleansing bar for me! I will not travel without having this on my carry on! Leaves your skin soft and it hydrates if you have dry skin. Gentle, no fragrance, really good for sensitive skin. I totally 100% recommend. Essential. Sunscreen must be used when using any CeraVe products. Best if combined with Resurfacing serum and CeraVe Moisturizing Cream.

Amazing

I wanted to purchase a cleanser from Cerave because I heard all their products contain ceramides. I didn't care to do much research and just went with the cheapest bar soap (less plastic) and I'm pleased to report this stuff is phenomenal! You just have to try it. Your skin will feel so smooth and soft. It's a wonderful gentle cleanser and you can really feel the ceramides doing their job. Hands down best cleanser I have ever used.

Awesome to use with tretinoin

Very moisturizing, especially for a bar face soap. I love that it doesn’t come in plastic packaging and that it’s relatively inexpensive for the size of the bar. I got this as I’m using tretinoin and needed some very moisturizing elements in my skincare regimen. This definitely helps. It does take a little bit longer to wash off than a ‘normal’ face soap, but it doesn’t aggravate my acne or eczema. Will be nice to use on dry winter skin too. The only downside is the smell is unpleasant, chemically and very strong, but it becomes less obvious as the day progresses.

However, it contains a great deal of petroleum, petroleum is something that is non comedogenic and not good for sensitive skin, and is very pore clogging, which is exactly why it gave me bad breakouts. They should not claim something is for sensitive skin or is non comedogenic if it has something so pore clogging in it. So they almost got it right with the ingredients but had to ruin it with something that clogs pores so badly. Petroleum serves no purpose for the skin and should not be put on the skin. Edit: The more I used it the more I got a bad rash, dry scaly red inflamed skin with rash like bumps.

Environmental & Travel-Friendly, Reliable FaceWash

Great product (cleanser) with the added bonus of being more environmentally and travel friendly???! YES PLEASE! This and their bottled, liquid facial cleanser are the first products that really made a difference on my slightly stubborn, acne prone skin where others have failed me, making CeraVe facial cleansers a go to for me. It's a good alternative body wash if you need a sensitive one, too.And seriously, did I mention travel friendly?? Traveling with a bar for face wash revolutionized an irritating part of traveling for me.I have family members with eczema who also like these bars for hand washing

Finally!!!! A bar soap that moisturizes!

Loooooove this soap. Finally a bar soap that doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped! And I’ve tried a ton! This actually lathers and feels great. I’ve used it for about a month and though I can’t attest to it helping with acne since my facial and body acne is a bit random, but I can say I love that I can wash both my body and face with it which I’ve honestly never done! It’s also great to travel with and I love that it’s something both my husband and I can use! Now I don’t need to pack separate liquid cleanser and body wash

This soap bar has been the best and most effective at washing all my makeup off and not irritating my skin post use. I have super sensitive, hormonal cystic acne prone skin and this soap is gentle enough for every day, twice a day use with moisturizing properties that makes my skin actually glow. I will pair this with the foaming acne cleanser by this brand for breakouts, and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin texture and pore size. I’ve actually gotten control of my breakouts and haven’t had any serious outbreaks since I started using these products. It lasts me quite awhile, and is super affordable. Hormonal Acne GONE!!

THIS SOAP IS IT!!! I have had hormonal acne ever since I got off my birth control over a year and a half ago. I have tried everything and when I say everything I MEAN EVERYTHING!!! I’ve tried panoxyI, tea tree oil, pink grapefruit face wash, African black soap, cleansers with salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and many more. I have stopped breaking out and my acne is finally healed!! I still have a little redness from my acne scars but no new acne, even on my period!

Saved my skin

I suffered from cystic acne frequently which causes a lot of bacteria and scarring on my face. I also had a rough nose from sebum clogging my pores which I never thought I could get rid of. Ever since I have been using this product it has changed my skin for the better. I have tried multiple face washes, acne cleansers, creams.. you name it and nothing has worked like how this hydrating bar has. It has helped heal some of my deep scarring on my face from the ceramides and has completely removed the hard bumps and dry skin build up on my nose. My face always feel refreshed, clean, and soft after using it and it never feels tight or super dry. I am so happy with this product and can't see myself using anything else for my face routine. I will always highly recommend this!
