CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion - 3 fl oz

Seriously this CeraVe Moisturizing lotion is amazing!! My skin has been dried out from a recent change to freezing cold weather. My face has been dry and flaky, makeup was not applying on smoothly and I needed a quick fix. After purchasing this and using it for ONE night I have noticed an instant change. I woke up with a hydrated face this morning. A little bit of this goes a long way. I used about two pea sized squirts last night and it spread across my whole face. My face felt moisturized but not too oily. I can have sensitive skin at times (especially when dried out like this) and it did not irritate or sting one bit. If your face is feeling dry/dehydrated I highly recommend this product, money well spent!!

I wanted to like this because it has a lot of hype and is priced well, but my sensitive, rosacea-prone skin did not. To apply, I'd pump two pumps into my hands and then rub it on my face and neck. Here are some pros: - There's no pilling, and it's easy to apply and blend in. - It doesn't have much of a scent, which is good for my sensitive skin. - It felt effectively moisturizing and a had a not-too-lightweight, but not-too-thick creamy texture. This product just wasn't the right fit for my skin. It's probably better for someone with more resilient skin. Here are some cons: - It stung my super sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. - It triggered my acne-prone skin and caused me to develop whiteheads.

It’s good. That’s all it pretty much was for me. If you’re looking for something simple, not greasy, fast absorbent and no fragrance this maybe be it for you. I actually got this in the winter as I needed something moisturizing and realized this just didn’t do it for me. My skin needs more moisture. Although the formula is really nice, after a few hours I felt I needed to reapply. Yes I used this during the day in the winter because I thought PM would be ‘heavier.’ This is not bad for summer though and I like to apply it after my toner and right before my sunscreen and it works great. Also used this at night but I usually had to put a serum after it to feel like my skin was moisturized enough. Plus side: I did love the lock in pump!

I love CeraVe pm! A product has to be absolutely fantastic for me to give it five stars and I heard about this when I looked up what products would be great to use a Trenton knowing and I can’t believe I did try CeraVe products much earlier…I’m actually really mad at myself for spending Ridiculous amounts of money for nothing when this brand is literally created with dermatologists and it has so many fantastic ingredients that are SO good for your skin! So this cream is extremely moisturizing but it is light and buttery like a creamy serum. I absolutely love it. It’s also great for daytime. I have no dryness whatsoever using this with tretinoin. Best daily moisturizer

I use this moisturizer daily morning and night for probably 2 years. It is truly a game changer. Combined with ceravae face wash, it truly nourishes your skin. It changes the texture of your skin even after one use. My mom tried it when her skin was inflamed at the beach and she said it calmed her face immediately. Also I sometimes use a retinoid face cream in the evening for acne and it can be harsh and dry out my skin. I always use this cream combined with the retinoid to prevent dryness. It keeps my skin soft and clean. The nice thing about this product is it goes on your face cleanly and absorbs fast. Leaves 0 residue. When you wake up in the morning your skin feels soft and refreshed.

Great Dupe for A More Expensive SPF

To me, this is a great, and cost-effective dupe for a well-known dermatologist-recommended spf for acne-prone skin (this other product happens to be spf 46 and rhymes with "delta"). True, this only has spf 30, but aside from that the products look and feel the same. They are both hybrid zinc oxide/chemical sunscreens and they both heavily feature niacinamide as a star ingredient. The more expensive spf has lactic acid and instead this Cerave AM moisturizer has ceramides. Honestly, I'll take the ceramides over the lactic acid because I don't need my moisturizer/sunscreen to exfoliate - I'd rather it protect my skin which the ceramides will contribute to. So again, I think the only thing better about the more expensive product is the spf level 46. If you are looking for more of a light moisturizer, I'd suggest the Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30. That one feels more like a moisturizer and less like an spf. But the downside to that one is that it doesn't have niacinamide, which I find helps with balancing oil production. All in all, this AM moisturizing lotion is a good solid choice, is non-irritating, doesn't break me out, and is a much, much cheaper alternative to the above-described more expensive product. It's not my favourite sunscreen overall, but I will keep it in rotation and would recommend it.

Great for oily skin

I don’t get all the bad reviews for this product. I have veryyyy oily acne prone skin and rarely switch up my facial products, but the stuff I’d been using previously (which I used for many years and loved) was just getting too expensive. In an attempt to save money I decided to cross my fingers and give this a go. That was during the pandemic and I’m still buying and using it with no major breakouts. In fact, everything I’ve read about HA makes me think it’s helped keep my skin clear, as it’s supposed to be good for acne. Of course everyone’s skin is different so maybe this stuff just agrees with mine. Overall very happy with the results and at an affordable price. Had an adverse reaction to this PM lotion

I heard a lot of good things about CeraVe, and for context, I have been using their SA cleanser (as body cleanser), the body moisturizer, and therapeutic hand cream with no issues for a year now. so I decided to try their face products. I have been using this PM lotion since May 2022 and stopped in Dec 2022. I gave it chance after chance, to make sure it wasn't some other product/issue, but every time I use the PM lotion, it triggers a negative reaction on my skin. in the beginning, I patch tested it, and patch test was okay. so I started using it full face every night, and noticed that it would sting/burn my face (particularly around my nose/mouth), and my face would go red/patchy. for the next several days, I had severe flaking/peeling all around my face - for ... MoreI heard a lot of good things about CeraVe, and for context, I have been using their SA cleanser (as body cleanser), the body moisturizer, and therapeutic hand cream with no issues for a year now. so I decided to try their face products. I double checked my other products and none of them have been reformulated, and they have been the same products/formulas for the past 2.5 years, so I knew the issue was likely the PM lotion. a week after I stopped using the PM lotion my skin immediately cleared up. I'm sad to say that while I've had an amazing experience with CeraVe's body/hand products, this face PM lotion did not work well for me. Something about it is too potent for my face skin. I will say that it is budget friendly, so for those who are able to use this, it's a cost-effective option.

I use prescription retinol at night so this is great at keeping my skin hydrated and layers well on top of it. REALLY really good

This was my first foray into skincare many years ago when I decided to take skincare more seriously. This was 5-6 years ago. I am much more of a skincare enthusiast now, but back then my routine was much more simple and this product was an absolute STAPLE for me. I think this is one of the best moisturizers from the drugstore. It is very simple and lightweight; almost like a serum-lotion consistency that spreads really nicely. I love the addition of niacinamide. Niacinamide paired with ceramides and cholesterol is a wonderful barrier-restoring trio. This is probably my most purchased skincare product of all time; I think I have gone through 15 bottles or so over the years.
