CeraVe Renewing SA Cream - 12 oz

Pic is of my bump-free arm which is now smooth as a baby's butt. This cream is my go-to body exfoliator. Throw out those harsh, physical scrubs guys because this is honestly all you need. Simple and straightforward ingredients, fragrance free, noncomedogenic. I currently only need to use this on rough patches (knees, elbows, feet) or the occasional (fortnightly) exfoliation of my legs and arms or butt/back. SA is also great for acne and breaking up oil and dead skin cells clogging the skin, so it's beneficial for those battling body breakouts. I do not use this as a moisturiser, for that I prefer the Cerave Moisturising Cream. It is primarily an exfoliant, and BHAs aren't necessary for everyday use on normal skin. For most skin types, when accompanied by a gentle, hydration-focused routine, you'll have baby soft skin in no time. I applied this to my sister's Keratosis Polaris (chicken skin) on her arms an hour after showering at night (it is best used on skin that's had time to dry properly) and once more in the morning every day. This treatment has smoothed out her skin too and had a great effect on her mental health because of it. Be cautioned it does contain Salicylic Acid which is a BHA or chemical exfoliant, and therefore it is important to stay sun safe and use sunscreen every day when using this product. Which we should all be doing anyway, so no skin off my back there (haha, get it?... I'll let myself out).

This cream is much more silky than a squeeze bottle. This cream reminds me of silky body butter. It has zero fragrance. That is probably my favorite part. This product is packed full of salicylic acid and vitamin d. It also has 3 ceramides; exfoliating, moisturizing, and smoothing. This cream glides on the skin and soaks in so easily. There is no vigorous rubbing back and forth, trying to rub in a watery product. There is none of that. My skin has been less dry, less irritated, and less itchy. I recently got my brother into cleansing and moisturizing his face morning and night as a way to build healthy habits and he said it didnt make his face feel any different talking about irritation or sensitivity here he said it felt nice on his face even though he is very oily and has acne prone skin. I also have acne prone skin but drydehydrated so a bit of a polar opposite of him. this may even work if you have Rosacea or the occasional eczema flare up but dont take my word for it. cerave makes something for both dry and oily skin types so if this makes your face react a certain way, you might have a different skin type or skin condition than you initially thought. but please do give this lotion a try because my skin is almost flawless due to switching my entire skin care to cerave and this lotion was the cherry on top of a very yummy cake highly recommended 10010. if you want to know, I am 22 years old, living in iowa where the weather is constantly fluctuating DAILY and this lotion holds up very nicely and also does not make my make up look or feel weird at all

Fixed my bumpy arms

Over the past few months the back of my arms have become quite bumpy. After doing a quick internet search of Keratosis Pilaris, this cream came up so I thought I would give it a go. It is fairly pricey in my opinion for the size of the tube but it's well worth it because it has worked and my bumps started reducing in size and in number with in the first 2 weeks and now they are almost all gone. The cream is thick, rich and white. It is totally fragrance free. It takes a few minutes to absorb but once absorbed it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy whatsoever. It definitely softens and smooths the skin you just have to be patient and use daily. I would recommend this for Keratosis Pilaris.

I used all of these products on my body. Cleanser is moisturising and good, but I dont know if it makes skin better (KP), I still have half of bottle left, so it´s early yo say. Use it almost every day, while showering. Cream is quite thick (and really moisturizing), so I notice, that often I don´t want to put it on. It sticks a little and is uncomfortable because of that. I ordered Cerave moisturizing lotion, so I will see, if I like it better. I have problems with KP, but I don´t see any difference at the moment, because I haven´t used it every day. I like to use the cream often to soften cuticles on hands and feet- especially good for dry feet. Nails look much better with using it often. Not great

I bought this moisturiser because of all the raving reviews (especially from dermatologists) and it was a surprising disappointment. When you apply it on wet skin, it takes ages to soak in and you have to keep rubbing it in. However when you apply it on dry skin, it's very difficult to rub in, it dries super quickly and gets tacky and is not smooth. Then after it has dried in, your skin is left feeling tacky and rough, not smooth at all. I had to apply a body oil on top just so my skin could be smooth again. I shouldn't need that additional step with such a highly rated product. This is the second cerave product I bought due to the hype however it is also a disappointment like the first one. Shame. Rough and dry to smooth and hydrated skin.

Wouldnt recommend for acne-prone skin.

I wish I could of said I liked this cream, but I do believe it may have been making my skin break out more. I've struggled with acne since the age of 15.I'm now almost 30 and in the past two years despite the pandemic, my acne has cleared up minus the few hormonal bumps here and there. I've been using Cerave products for about a year now, I really do love the foaming face cleanser and right now I'm currently trying the acne cleanser. I got this cream because I've had rough feeling bumpy skin, the cream itself is very thick and oily feeling so I would suggest only using a pea size or (2) amount, otherwise this will feel caked on your face all day.
